    Scott has the best looking kicks ever. I never tough someone would kick with more style than JCVD.

    I heard Scott say in interview, he had to add extra muscle and this restricted him in movement. If you can believe it after seeing this. He is just too smooth.

    • @jprice2148
      @jprice2148 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      He must be over 200 210 Idc what it says. He's 5'11 and football safetys with the same build weigh at least that. It's the body type it doesn't slow them down it actually gives them more speed and power. Maybe less flexible flying through the air yeah.

    • @graysun9108
      @graysun9108 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@jprice2148 thats why he said resticted in movement. Yeah extra muscles get you more power and speed but the more muscle the more limited gets your range of movement (of course it needs to be much more to be really noticeable but someone like Scott who knows his body really well ?)

    3:31 that's called a butterfly suplex. When you trap both of your opponents arms over thier back and throw them, kinda looks like a butterflies wings.

    Scott Adkins really should have been given a Marvel role instead of a henchman. I was thinking maybe Nightshade or a recast Iron Fist or a recast Daredevil. The Punisher would have fit as well, but Bernthal did a good job

    Кошмар is nightmare in Russian. The Nightmare would be more accurate than the Monster. It's a really dumb sounding name for Russians, tbh, kinda of like Baba Yaga in John Wick. Just sounds ridiculous.

    A little more technical details describing Scott Sir's technique and explaining how a fight like that would go down in real life, from you would have made this video better. Or else what's the point of listening to an expert. You maybe a great instructor but not very good at explaining things. I am just being honest.

    • @BurridgeMartialArts604
      @BurridgeMartialArts604  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I mean that's the thing though, a fight wouldn't go down like this in real life, not even close. All the flashy techniques they use look amazing and are super fun, but not practical. Anyone who fights would never use those, there are just better options available to you, it is super entertaining to watch though!
      As for the technique breakdowns, I have never thrown a 540 kick or a guyver kick in my training (Muay Thai/BJJ) so I don't feel I'm in a position to explain how he did those, I just appreciate the fact he can! Scott is an incredible athlete

    Fun fight between those two!
    Suggestion: I'd suggest Kung Fu Killer (2015) starting around 1:21:20 for the street fight. Long fight with Donnie Yen and Wang Baoqiang. I enjoyed it, until the last parts when it went off the rails under the trucks...

    As we all know, the onscreen name of the antagonist in this fight was Koshmaar.
    What everyone might not know is that Cauchemare (pronounced Koshmaar) is a French word which means Nightmare. The director was very clever in choosing the name for the antagonist.

    • @nathanshierd2098
      @nathanshierd2098 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      No? It's just Russian word: Koshmar which obviously means Nightmare. Just like in Polish the exact same word is just written "koszmar" and it still means nightmare. So you don't really shine by searching some French word which is far away from what we actually have here.

    • @jabez2844
      @jabez2844 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@nathanshierd2098 I didn't know about the Russian version of the word, but I'll admit that "cauchemare" was the first thing that popped into my head too when I was watching the video, since cauchemare also means nightmare in French, is pronounced the same way as it was said in the video, AND the villain was also introduced as Koshmaar the Nightmare. French is more widespread in Canada and the US than the Russian language so I'm sure the OP simply misunderstood which language was spoken, like I did, and was not in fact trying to "shine by searching some French word".

    Speaking of Nathan jones, apparently he did a movie as the protagonist for once called Somtum aka Muay Thai giant its basically like ong bak/the protector style action but all nathan, just look up Nathan jones Somtum should be the first 8:35min video, skip to 35 seconds in, and holy crap Nathan takes/gives some massive bumps for real, that stuff looked like it had to hurt, i Havnt seen the whole movie just saw this insane fight scene he has with 3 other dudes that remind me of the dudley boyz from wwe back then.

    it wasn't really the broken elbow trick, but ripped muscles. If you are so big and so tight in muscles, your muscle strands rip way easier, and if you bend the hand enough, you can't use the hand, because every tiny move stings like hell. i have lived through a handbar, where my elbow wasnt bent, but i was so sure, that using the resistance, would benefit me, ended up with a lifetime injury. but elbow wasn't broken so i lost some to save some.
