Nice to see you ,it’s been a little while. Looks like you got yourself into a nice tractor project. Nice to have all the new capabilities .Enjoy the last of summer. Good time of year is on its way.
That tractor makes my life easy now. Just used it to unload my flu pan that I picked up Friday at leader. I’m getting ready to ramp up on maple work right off
What is the kit for the added hydraulics? Doesn’t JD have added rear hydraulic kit that gives one or two handles on the side by the rock shaft? They remove the plastic fender facing and replace with another one? And what is your logging winch and size. Reason I have a 1025r and want to upgrade to what you have. Thanks
They didn’t offer me an option. I know that the set ups for open station are different than for the cab tractors. It is a wallensteine fx65. Are you upgrading size of tractor or just the winch?
@@dunnfamilymaple the tractor, I like to upgrade to one like yours. I watched your video putting on wheel spacers. 👍 I have a Farmi 351 logging winch. Use to use it on an old 1956 John Deere 420. The tractor is getting to old to go to the woods, worried I may break something. I’m in Nova Scotia 🇨🇦. I live a few miles away from Hutchinson Acres Maple syrup. Check it out on Google.
@@dunnfamilymaple Thanks for the info. I’m planning a new shack that will be 16x24. I have a 2x6 evaporator and was thinking about laying it out like yours. My tanks except the head tank will be outside. Thanks again
Mine is tight inside but works. Just know that they day you build your sugar house it will be to small. Put a row or two of concrete blocks around the bottom to help when you wash the floors. If I was to do it again I would put metal on the wall the first 3 ft for easier cleaning too. Floor drains on both sides of the evaporator and in any processing areas too.
Thanks for the helpful info. I was thinking i would pour a 6" curb to help with the washing. My timber frame posts will sit high and dry also. thanks again @@dunnfamilymaple
It could have been a better video if we had a better view of the tractor and what you were talking about. We mostly just saw you, the sky, and the trees.

Don’t waste your time getting an E series. The R is light years ahead of the E
I really like the layout of your sugar house. what are the dimensions? thanks
the evaporator area is 12x16, the tank, RO, and processing side is 16x16. 12x16 wood shed too

Would you happen to have the part number for the case drain t fitting.
I don't. Your local JD dealership "should" be able to print the schematics though
Have a 06 9540 Kubota.
Just a little bigger than mine
You have been missed! Like seeing your videos on TH-cam. Haven't seen any new updates on your evaporator.
We have five tractor from small to big lol
@@AaronScottWestBayMapleCo there are some coming but I don’t want to give away all the secrets
@@travisjudd5139 your a little bit of a bigger deal than me though

I don’t hit dingers with every video but I was trying to show people that adding the extra hydros isn’t that hard and you can save yourself $800
