Totally agree with the writer being absolute. However besides that, superman is solely dependent on a yellow sun to power him. Out of that he is normal or depowered over time away from it. Mark is not dependent on an external source, he is powered by his genetics and how much he pushes himself. So given the right solar system and duration from a yellow sun, sups gonna be toast.
Good ol armor. For plot 😂 I do like the fact you see mark progress because he gets WRECKED and get progressively more powerful during his power evolution tho
@@Jeffrey_zeta I respect and love when writers set rules early on and follow them so that the world they create feels real. But on superhero stuff they are constantly bending them and it gets really annoying. For example in Invincible both Mark and Nolan are bullet proof but then somehow when they go to the hospital the surgeons there are able to pierce them with needles and operate on them - if that's the case, you could just kill Nolan by shooting him with needles. It's just ridiculous. With superman is also the same, because he is too powerful the writers are constantly downgrading him. I.e., he can fly at the speed of the light but in x plot point he takes half hour to fly there, etc. And don't even get me started about Dragon Ball, I used to love it but the fact bending to keep churning out episodes totally ruined it for me. It makes it very difficult to suspend disbelief.
I like the evolution of his powers and showing him get completely destroyed in the “beginning”, but 99% Viltrumite DNA!? Dang those Viltrumite have some strong (no pun intended lol) swimmers and the females who give birth to them and 100% ones!!
Nope, this video is missing alot of facts. Mark can survive the sun for a few hours. He would have died if robot didn't send him a suit and Allen the alien picked him from the sun coz he was dying and too weak to fly out of the sun. Their skin melted off just a few minutes into that sun fight yet superman becomes more powerful the longer he stays in the sun. It's his power source
@@abubaocear7171 Ironic that you say that, because the original version of superman became omnipotent, and he's required to exist by the universe its self

It depends on which version of superman, some versions of superman can't even fly, just jump really high. While other versions he is a literal god. But there is only 1 version of Invincible
There is an infinitely recursive painting that contains worlds as you can go inside of the painting with worlds having legitimate structures inside of them being described as having levels with each lower level being flat and unreal to the next. Nature naturally contains multiple infinities inside of it, meaning that each level of the painting has infinite x infinite hierarchies. Due to these paintings being worlds, they would also have material and spiritual layers to them. Each universe is unbound by dimension or space So this would be baseline 1-S due to the following: First Painting: 1-A+ (undefinable by space or dimension with an infinite R>F hierarchy) Second Painting: H1A (Transcends this with it's own hierarchy).... Last Painting: Baseline 1-S This is all under a Dream of a universe which are layered in themselves. The rest is scaled in my video here Also, people will say that the "DC cosmology has no canonical reason to be composited as it contradicts itself" When Monitor-Mind canonically contradicts itself, along with writers often double checking on their own work so it fits the overall DC cosmology Along with Infinite Frontier and (somewhat) Death Metal making everything canon. so with cosmology superman is h1S at LEAST. superman is one of the strongest characters in fiction
Is Invincible a powerful in his verse, absolutely but can he actually beat superman given both their feats? No supermans experience, raw strength and speed coupled with hax and abilities, mark really doesnt have an answer for whar superman has.
Superman gets stronger with age too. By the time Mark reaches New 52 levels of strength Superman will have been 10 x stronger than Silver Age Superman.
youre forgetting that supermans strength is absolute infinity larger than marks, perhaps even greater than that. mark with eons of infinitely increasing strength would be a quadrillionth of supermans strength
This is bullshit. You mention zero of Superman’s feats, most of which absolutely dwarf any of Mark’s. Invincible gets wiped by any but the very weakest versions of Superman, and a lot of other DC and Marvel characters.
goku caps at multiversal. superman without even being boosted by cosmology can take out the multiverse in a single punch. without cosmology he already scales above goku, with cosmology he's H1A (dc universe transcends all of mathematics as a simple cosmology scale) There is an infinitely recursive painting that contains worlds as you can go inside of the painting with worlds having legitimate structures inside of them being described as having levels with each lower level being flat and unreal to the next. Whole power scaling is bs. It is all about the story in the comics. I am sure if there was a cross over both would be evenly matched in their base forms.
Who you got? Invincible or Superman?
Batman (with plot armor and preptime)
Realistically its superman.
but the creator of invincible confirmed he joked about it
Your video fails to mention that ftl travel is actually going backwards in time.
Superman. The Kryptonians have more powers than Viltrumites.
