Interesting food for thought, thank you. I am personally convinced that to photograph you have to know about science, music, literature, etc. That's how you build a thought, a personal critical view... and a photo. Thanks again.
Don't know why TH-cam showed me this, but very glad it did. What an atrocity has happened to our education systems and societies! Bring back the old learned ways and practices.
I started school in 1955, we didn't get quite this level of education, but much better than today. We also have many academic after school activities, Physics club, astronomy club, chess club, etc.
I was born in 1969, my sister a year earlier. She got an old style teacher so she still had a pretty good education in the elementary school. I had a progressive teacher, so basically I still have to check the grammar for simple things when I write... basically some wasted years for me.
This is the same type of "Education" I was getting, from my Public School, here in America in the mid 1960's! Kids today are not being taught any of these very basic principles! So sad!
The first version of the idea (democracy) was to make everything higher into common property, and as this was shown to be unfeasible, the next idea was to destroy all quality and superiority by merging it into the mass. The weaker Tradition was, the greater was the success of the mass-spirit. Thus in America, its victory was complete, and the principle of mass was applied even to the field of education. America with less than half the population of the home soil of Western Culture had in the 20th century ten times as many institutions of higher learning, so-called. For, in everything, Democracy must fail, even in success. The practice of giving everyone a diploma meant quite simply that the diploma became meaningless.
Amen to that. Actually already Plato in "The Republic" considered the democracy a terrible idea because it transforms always in the dictatorship of the majority. That's why we invented the Republic. Sadly we quit to follow the Constitution and inserted to many masses driven rules.

Agree... sadly we are in the era of the snapshots and soundbites, the pursuit of culture is shadowed by the pursuit of a like on social media.

I have no idea of the TH-cam algorithms mysteries... but I'm glad you appreciated!
Thanks for support.

yes, it's very sad! And we are seeing the consequences.
