I think that moment between Blake and Weiss was so much more powerful with Blake also a survivor of abuse. It was impactful

I honestly see more chemistry between Blake and Weiss than Blake with Yang. Checkmate feels more right in my opinion.

This is the best volume yet.
Each is better then the last (excluding 5)
It has yet to end though.
I can say writing wise and action wise vol 6 was my fave so far. The story felt like it was constantly moving. This sort of feels like it hasn't been so quickly paced. But still i think it's by far the best season with character interactions.

@@ThatGuy-ju6fe Every issue that people had with Adam is 6 were things left over from writing decisions in 5. Considering what they had to work with for Volume 6, I think they gave his arc the best conclusion it could've had.

I loved Blake here and I feel bad for Weiss because Blake was also abused by Adam she supported Weiss
I'm still waiting for Cinder's full back story. The only thing we know is that she hails from Mistral, and she's had encounters with some unsavoury people early in her life. But she must've come from an established family like her fellow RWBY Princesses Weiss and Blake, right? Something very distressing would've happened during her childhood years for her succumb to her own malevolent desires, something much worse than what Weiss and Blake have been through, and therefore leading up to her become one of Salem's chosen.
@@GreyDoofus88 Since she's based on Cinderella, I like to imagine she's the opposite of that character; that she grew up in a welcoming home with loving sisters(maybe she was adopted) but grew an inferiority-complex due to her sisters being skilled huntresses or something. So she wanted to grow powerful.
It won't be that though, but still.
It could well be a case of the opposite with Cinder's family life, being a pampered delinquent who didn't like the idea of being bested by anyone. She may have made her siblings' lives an absolute misery. Yet that still doesn't explain to me why she would fall so far. It has to be some sort of intense trauma in her early life that has made her so broken.
I predict that Ruby will become a shock collar around Cinder's neck, because I can't think of no greater torment for her. Plus if you recall, Salem mentioned that Cinder holds the key to victory. Which would mean that willing or not, Cinder maybe instrumental in bringing Salem down for good.
My theory is as follows... Both the brothers (light and dark) mutually afflicted Salem with the curse of immortality. So with Ruby being a denizen of the God of Light and Cinder bearing a geist arm, therefore marked by darkness, it would be considered logical (in my eyes at least) that both of them can defeat Salem once and for all.
What does this have to do with my comment?
Sorry I went way off topic there. I figured since you were on about Weiss and Blake, that I'd rope in the other RWBY Princess (that being Cinder), especially given that we haven't seen her or Neo yet. I got a bit too carried away there. My bad! 😟
Also despite their affiliations, I kind of see them as a sort of triad.
Weiss is now an huntress.
Which mean she is legaly an emancipated teen, which is, in the eyes of the laws, the same that an adult in right and resposability.
Which also mean her father just lost any and every legal parental power he could have had over her.
If he gets caught associating with Watts, he's going to lose a lot more than that. Which I'm looking forward to.
I predict that he will be disposed of once his usefulness is gone.
And I want Tyrian to do the deed, for the extra pain.

If the plan for the story of Summer Rose in RWBY was to have Ozpin know about the events of Summers disappearance then that would have been shown when Ruby asked Jinn "what is Ozpin hiding from us" since that directly would have involved three of the people present (Ruby, Yang and Qrow) if Ozpin had hidden information about her last mission.
Ozpin hid a lot. JINN TOOK the question to mean either what Oz was hiding at THAT moment, or the MAIN thing he was hiding. Gotta be specific when looking for knowledge.
@@Chokah your logic doesn't make sence then, because if you have to be "specific" then a third of what Jinn showed them would have been far less needed to be shown than the information Oz theoretically would be hiding about Summer.

I wonder since Qrow did mention that Ozpin, Tai, and himself didn't know about Summer's last mission if Raven might have known. I also wonder if Raven and Summer were partners which could explain even more about Raven's actions.
I was more thinking that Summer was QROW'S partner since he was overprotective of Ruby in volume 6, but her being Raven's partner would explain how Raven knows of Salem. However, Summer might've left and Raven somehow used her bird powers or semblance to figure out what she was doing, so it might not even be a partner thing at this point. We'll find out soon enough!

I have a theory. I don't think Ironwood is blind to Ruby keeping a secret from him as well. The way she acts, how the rest of the acts when he asks about it or trust comes up. I think James doesn't want tp press any info out of them and make himself seem desperate for them to tell him everything. He doesn't want to seem greedy or misleading. I think he wants them to decide when its time for the whole truth to come out.

Probably not. By the time Summer disappeared she had already been together with Tai and had Ruby, long after Raven had left for her tribe. Qrow didn't include her because she wasn't around to "be in the dark" like Tai and Ozpin.

Weiss and Blake arent related and are of two different species and didnt like each other at all at first so thats a big deal, and now they’re all basically family and bonded regardless because they’re all burdened with the task of defeating Salem.

Why the hell were ruby, juanne, and Nora so freaked out about the ace ops? They've literally done things bigger than playing hot potato with a geist. That entire scene is precisely what's wrong with having so many characters in a fight. There's a lot of trouble with keeping everyone relavent in the action, or certain characters are stuck on the sidelines watching everyone in ace ops go at it. So wtf? Both rwby and jnpr have done bigger and better than the ace ops have shown here. Remember when rwby fought a freaking nevermore on a crumbling tower and everyone had to make their own way back up? Or how about jnpr fighting a death stalker on an unstable bridge? And if it's the team work aspect, how about the nuckaleeve fight at the end of volume 4? No single character was completely dominant in that. Except juanne and Ren really now that I think about it.
This is another chapter that has proven Weiss is best girl. Though I was hoping she will throw Jacquess into the trash like she did with the drunk racist. I didn't like that since the guy wasn't in the right state of mind. But Jacquess deserves it more than anyone specially after he tried to guilt trip her bringing her mother. He doesn't get to play that card with her.
Can we feed Weiss father and brother to some grime also Blake and yang taking a picture together so pure and I’m proud of Weiss for taking a stand against har father and how qrow told ruby her mom would be proud just ahhhhh 🥰
