I love all your tutorials. As a beginner, your tutorial is very clear . I never have a passion in macramé, but the way you explain make me start to learn a simple macrame knot😍. Your tutorial yoga macrame bracelet is also great . Thank you 🙏

2 minutes 3 seconds shows really nice picture of the type of Chinese knotting cord she's using! Great explanation! Super easy to understand for the beginner and if you're more advanced well watch at a faster speed! I wish the very best to all who read this!
Thank you for the simple thorough instructions and clear video. I love that you have no music in the background and you speak very clearly and easy to understand. This young at heart 50+ yr old can hardly wait to make a few of these. Liked and Subscribed.
so many nasty comments! What is wrong with people?! Thank you for the detailed instructions! I love how you keep your responses light and courteous when people are being jerks.
Ok so, I did this with some string and beads that you would use from like a friendship bracelet kit, and I made a necklace that is adjustable, I’ve always wanted to make one so thanks, this video helped a lot.
One helpful two I loved listening to you talk your voice is so nice and relaxing and not too loud I could fall asleep listening to you... you should totally do like a sleepy podcast or something or just like a relax time chit chat thing I could listen to you talk forever
Thank you for teaching me something I wanted to know or should I say learn, your awesome keep teaching us we love learning and learning is growing in knowledge.
Beautiful tutorial. I just wanted to share my experience with similar bracelets. I've personally found that gluing the sliding clasp knot eventually results in it falling apart. I use metal yarn needed to pull the ends back through the square knots. I know, you'd think that adjusting the cording to tighten or loosen the bracelet would pull the end cords back out but it doesn't.
What a great instructional video! I love Snoopy so the Snoopy nose works super well for me. Does this also work with #12 Nylon Griffin Cord? MAHALO so much for sharing your wisdom so awesomely!
Macrame relies on knotting your cord a certain way so it has that macrame look. Stretch cord isn't going to give you that look, nor will the sliding knots work properly.
This comment is to the people that say, “there was to much talking in this video.” Don’t y’all know that you can fast forward through any part of any video that you don’t want to watch? 🤨
Hello, Michael. Allie used Chinese Knotting Cord light brown, below is the link. www.potomacbeads.com/SearchResults.asp?Search=chinese+knotting+cord&Submit=Search
Watched the entire video and you totally lost me on the slip knot. Wish I could find a tutorial on just the slip knot. Everything else seems self explanatory .
Couldn't hear the audio??? Good visual instructions though. I do have one complaint and most people will think I 'm being picky, but I think if you're going to record your hands doing a tutorial like this, it's only proper to make sure your fingernail are clean and freshly polished.
Ramble On their is already so much negativity in the world...why add to it? Was there nothing positive you could have said instead? Did your mamma never tell you...”if you can’t say something nice...then don’t say anything at all”...????
Do you understand you can actually skip ahead/through to what you wish to see? It is not that difficult... Less difficult in fact than leaving snarky unproductive comments. Just saying...

Thanks, can I make this knot with seed beads for gold chain bracelet ?
Do you mean use seed beads to decorate the ends before the knot?
Thank you soooo much for this!!!

Does this also work with #12 Nylon Griffin Cord?
MAHALO so much for sharing your wisdom so awesomely!
Hi! I have one of these bracelets and I’m having trouble taking it off. How do you take it off?
You mention a specific video for learning the macrame knot, do you have a link?
Hello there! Here is a video that shows how to do macrame that you may find helpful! th-cam.com/video/hnWeilciM10/w-d-xo.html
Beautiful! Do you have a video or picture of how it looks on the arm.
How long was the 2nd cording that was used to make the sliding knot?
Hi, approximately 10-12”.
Great ideas, I like it.🙂
More ideas to come!
Thanks for the tutorial and Happy New Year ! 🎉🎉🎉
Subscribed! 🙂
Yay! Thank you!
Thanks for the video ! What glue do you use ?
Hi, Allie is using super new glue. You can check it here: www.potomacbeads.com/super-new-glue#attr=1794
Very nice
Thank you
I only have sizes 8 and 11 seed beads can i use a stretch lace cord for the macrame 5 yard (4.5m)?
Macrame relies on knotting your cord a certain way so it has that macrame look. Stretch cord isn't going to give you that look, nor will the sliding knots work properly.
Great video! When you refer to a simple knot is that the same as an over hand knot? Thanks
Correct!
What kind of cord is that thank you😊
This is a Chinese Knotting Cord
Thank you!!
You're welcome!
How long of cord do I need for men and women macrame bracelets with beads?
Size it by your own wrist and double it. This will allow for your knots and the extra length to pull the cords to fit any sized wrist.
Can you use Hemp cord?
You could use hemp cord. It might not slide as easy but is a great option
liked this thank you
You are welcome, Roselin.
Thanks, I'm using a waxed cotton cord, but the flame didn't work. It looks like incense instead of melting a ball
Cotton is a natural fibre so it burns like wicks. Flame works for nylon cords.
This comment is to the people that say, “there was to much talking in this video.” Don’t y’all know that you can fast forward through any part of any video that you don’t want to watch? 🤨
What is the length of the macrame cord part??
A 12-inch piece will work
@@Potomacbeadco thank you so much! Jut finished a bracelet with your tutorial and it looks amazing 🤩.
@@Ruspsycho That is wonderful to hear!
Forst cord is 14 inches. What is the length of second one?
Thank u
Good post and info...subscribed.
Welcome aboard!
I’m trying to add your kit to my cart it will not let me
what size are the demi rounds that you are using? and if you use the Miyuki spacers what size would you recommend please and thank you.
Size 8/0 Demi Round or spacer.
Does it have to .8 or can it be any size
Why just for young or teens??????? I'm 67 and enjoy wearing these.
You are right, they can be worn by all!
Get on with it!!
Thanks, was able to fix a bracelet. Knot works, not as pretty as yours, but good for 1st attempt.
That is a good start ^_^ Thanks for watching.
Couldn't find that knot tutorial ! Can you help ,pls?!😊

I don't got time for all that talking
Arya Long had time to leave a rude comment?
Hope Lail 🥴🥴🥴😐😐😐
you talk waaaaay too much
Just naturally chatty! LOL!
I thought I was the only one who thought that. I kept fast forwarding it.
Ramble On their is already so much negativity in the world...why add to it? Was there nothing positive you could have said instead? Did your mamma never tell you...”if you can’t say something nice...then don’t say anything at all”...????
Really? Children and young adults? Ageist? Older women or men can’t wear?...
Hi Cheryl, anyone can wear whatever they like, it's just that these are popular with the younger set. 😃 Happy New Year!
Might have been a good tutorial if you would have done something in the 1st 20 minutes but talk. I could not finish wztching.
Might have been a good comment if you had been polite... oh wait, no it wouldn't have...
Do you understand you can actually skip ahead/through to what you wish to see? It is not that difficult... Less difficult in fact than leaving snarky unproductive comments. Just saying...
Lori try watching it instead of wztching and you might enjoy it! Or like one commenter said...fast forward! Common sense much?
