I love this concerto, remember me the favourite movie, another concerto I will love to see being played by yours, is the Violin Concerto in G minor RV 333!
Beautiful performance! Thank you! I am convinced Vivaldi's concerti become more and more operatic the later they are, and it begins to show here. Quantz had some unkind words to say about that, haha, but I appreciate the development of Vivaldi's style throughout his life.
i love this orchestra, and i have a long list of suggestions for you guys to play: Vivladi rv 31, rv 40 (or any of the cello sonatas) rv 82, 85, and 93 would put the spotlight on david tayler, rv 94, rv 103, rv 128, rv 151, rv 156 (that would be awesome) rv 199 (even cooler) rv 230, rv 425, rv 428, rv 532, rv 537, 538, and 539 would be good for expanding your brass repertoire, rv 558, rv 562, rv 569, rv 579, rv 580, rv 589, rv 597, and 644. Earlier i mentioned something about expanding your brass repertoire, well i think you should do a lot more torelli. you have the best performance of his d major trumpet concerto, so it stands to reason that your performances of his other trumpet works would also be really good. even his voilin works would be good. Telemann: i love all his brass concerti (and sinfonia, or sonata, or whatever other name they go by) and his horn suite is really good, especially the rondo. his a major violin concerto "the frogs" is pretty good. his four concerti for four violins are good. his six canonic sonatas are also good. i dont know much about telemann, but the stuff i do know is pretty good. corette, corelli, neruda, albinoni, couperin (both), rameau, handel, the scarlatti's (put hanneke in the spotlight), lully, zelenka, biber, pergolesi, quantz, graupner, and johann david heinichen are some composers ive heard that would be good for you guys to play, also, while it isnt my cup of tea, you should expand your vocal reportoire. (id love to see you guys do allegri's miserere) (sorry if this seems to demanding or whatever, i just really love the stuff you do, and i really love a lot of music.)

Even from the start, the ritornello structure is borrowed and adapted from opera.
