Oh my gosh! You just said my favorite childhood memory...eating tomatoes outside on the steps with little S&P shakers. I missed that the 1st or 2nd time I watched. Always interruptions lol. You have single-handedly got x-stitching again after a few decades of not! Your adorable smaller projects make it so satisfying to be doing with my full schedule. Yawn...I do stay up too late as can’t put the project down. Many thanks! You amaze me!
I just ordered the Cross Stitch Nation Chart to do the SAL. I've never done one before but am so excited. I follow your quilting videos and recently found your flosstube series. In the past, have loved cross stitching but in recent years have done more crocheting and quilting. You have inspired me to pick up my needle again and get stitching!

No Bees, No Honey ...on my, I love your finish! I've love to know what linen is used and what floss(es) for word Honey and border!! They don't quite look like called-for on the pattern, but then fiber colors can look so different in different lighting/pictures, I could be totally wrong. :)
Lori, it is always such great joy to watch another TH-cam video from you. I LOVE all your beautiful makes and want to buy all of them and all that you have planned to make. Your choice of colors is amazing and they just pop off the fabric. I have purchased the All Creatures Great and Small. Can I just say wow! It is a bit overwhelming but I really want to stitch this one. I just have to realize it will be a slow project and hope it will be half as beautiful as yours. WOW! I'm so amazed with what you accomplish! I'm getting inspired to try counted cross stitch. For years I did stamped cross. I'm 68 now but when I was 16 my boyfriend gave me a tomato pincushion and I still have and use it! Loved seeing your collection. You're such a blessing to us!

It was great to visit with you today, the 5th was our youngest daughter's birthday...a great day for sure! I love your finishes, I haven't stitched a Sampler in over 20 years, I keep seeing Winter Rose Manor and it's calling me. I'm a red gal and I enjoyed seeing your "Red" Sampler ideas! Absolutely enjoyed the pieces you're stitching with special memories attached, especially the one for your in-laws. I was blessed with a great 2nd set of parents as well. Can't wait for your next video.

I too was the kid in the “mater” patch with the salt shaker. You are right, there is nothing like it in the world eating those sun ripened tomatoes. Still do it today in my ‘50s. Something you never outgrow.

I just love your designs. I will join you in your cross stitch nation sal. I have the pattern and want to make the color changes that are from the “inclusion” sal. That’s where you change skin tones to include a variety of people in projects. Gary from sunshine stitchers did a beautiful version of it. I have to find his color conversion and kit it up. Great video Lori! I love the way you use your project boards to show everything, even your project bags!! Where do you get your library cards and pockets? That's a wonderful idea. Our tastes in stitching are so very similar. I loved everything you showed. Also,I am very new to quilting. I went in a nearby quilt shop and your Farmhouse Vintage was my first ever quilt pattern purchase for 'someday'. That was before I knew who you were. I am so glad to have 'met' you! Happy birthday!

I just used your stitch card pillow tutorial to finish the Love You freebie from Hands on Design. I used fabric instead of wool to cover the back stitches and used some buttons from my grandma who passed away, so it this pillow means a lot to me. Thank you for the tutorial!

what you make is so so beautiful, I would love for you to show how you stitch, I have not done linen and love the look of it, but I don 't know if I could but then again I used to drool about fabric and now I am quilting so I will not rule it out! I live in Wisconsin so we have a long winter too, lots longer than we like! I really enjoyed seeing all your beautiful finishes. You absolutely amaze me. I really enjoyed the tomatoes in the garden and the small salt shaker story. It reminded me of my upbringing. It makes me sad that most children don’t get to experience the smell and taste of a sun warmed tomato as it squishes in their mouth. Also, strawberries are best picked from the vine and rinsed by the garden hose and popped in your mouth. Heck, they are even good right from the vine with just a little dirt on them!🤣🤣🤣. Those were the good old days. I am so glad my daughter and her husband have a small raised garden where they grow tomatoes, different types of peppers, cucumbers and basil. It is very pretty with a cute rod iron fence around it with a path that runs down the middle of it. It is surprising how much they get out of just a little garden. My daughter is the one who maintains the garden most of the time and she does an excellent job.
Love everything you are stitching on and starting. I am working on the Prim Stitch Series, Sew By Row and Ann Morison at the present time. I have a bunch of other charts kitted up but I can only concentrate on a few at a time. I may start a couple more just to see how I do. I want to do some smalls and make them into pillows. I quilt in the mornings and stitch in the evening. Looking forward to next Flosstube and your “Special Guest”!!💕💕💕

I AGREE! I eat tomatoes ALL the time, very aware that the store-bought are nothing like the sun-kissed ones I pick from my garden. But I cannot resist the cherry tomatoes all winter long. Loving all your beautiful work. I suppose you've been asked: how do you keep the front picture free of dust or dirt when it has no glass on top? Thank you for your channel, love it very much!
