The latest Black Ops 6 Story Trailer recaps the entire Black Ops Timeline from BO1, BOCW and BO2 including the 1989 flashbacks which includes the infamous Suffer With Me Mission where Frank Woods executes Alex Mason. We have been told multiple times that the ending where Mason dies is the canon ending going into Black Ops 6, but this Black Ops 6 recap trailer shows a VERY different version.

I see no problem with him being alive. It doesn’t affect the story at all in my opinion because he’s already missing and not going to be part of the BO6 campaign. So I feel like them “confirming” he’s dead is just odd
but remember the others in the story are also under cover so mason has a high chance of being in a story mission

You’re taking the thirty years line a little too seriously. Woods was just rounding. You never specify the exact amount of years. If it’s been 8 years since you’ve seen something people normally say decade.

The only reason why they’re saying this is canon etc. etc. is because BO6 is just about to come out. If they were to say “actually he is alive” right before BO6 was to come out and we end up seeing that mason is alive at the end, it’s not really gonna be a surprise Is it. The fact that they keep going on about it makes it suspicious. We’ll never really know if he’s dead or not until BO6 (if they reveal it) or next year when a BO2 sequel supposedly comes out.
Funny how they act like warzone is the only thing worth effort for ysars, but they wanna use campaign and zombies elements as the selling points of the entire game.

In the reveal countdown trialer, you can hear woods narrating someone through what happened in Panama by saying “we went through the back door…” with a shot of walking behind Noriega. I cannot wait for this campaign, hope it doesn’t disappoint
if the voice in the trailer is the same as harrow voice, then the quote " how do you know who to trust" says everything
They only want to remove BO3 and BO4 from the canon.

Guys if you are still wondering what is canon ending just look at the start of campaing the first cutscene where David Mason talking and you can see Alex Mason not being shot in the head
Mason could still make an appearance in this game, just not seen by woods. If he secretly shows up with Adler or the main character, who we don’t ever see in the future, it doesn’t retcon anything
But he probably won’t, just so all bo2 endings can be canon
And the reason I say you better be right about this is because Activision came out with the statement that said that Jason Hudson and Alex Mason are indeed both dead in Cannon

I think a big thing to remember is the *graphic content* toggle in cod. When disabled, you see a clean shot of masons head regardless if you kill him or not. Is there a chance they were using the graphic-free content for trailer purposes ?
nope cod has shown graphic things for trailers its part of their game so i don't think that's the cause

I have a theory on why he could’ve lived. While people are saying woods thought he was menendez so he would shoot his head, that same theory could be flipped since woods could’ve wanted him to suffer like he did (ironic ik) when he was in the container.
Knowing warzone and how Activision adds on to the story using warzone. I think Mason is alive and they’ll add him through a season of warzone or something. I mean this was the exact same thing with MW1. We saw and thought Alex died and made the heroic sacrifice at the end of MW 2019, yet we see in either MW2 or MW3 (I forgot which) through a cutscene in one of the seasons for warzone that Alex survived. It is the exact same thing for Graves as well. We thought we killed him at the end of MW2 yet we see him in a future cutscene for a new season for warzone, and then we see him as part of the campaign for MW3 where it carried over to the campaign of MW3. In other words Mason has got to be without a doubt still alive, and if Activision still follows this route then Well see Mason alive and added to the operator roster and a cutscene in the future of one of the seasons for the new warzone.

Whilst I think this definitely holds some weight, if they wanted to do that then why do they still use the initial part of the cutscene where he stumbles when shot which is from the version where he lives? They could have used the version where he pancakes to the ground but still have the bullet wound-less face reveal?

Like I said on the last video you said he was dead, this game can't confirm or deny whether he is dead or alive as it's before Bo2 and we haven't had a game that carries on the events from Bo2 therefore Bo2 still has no cannon ending.

@@thek838 Half of Bo2 takes places in the past. Did u forget that half the game follows Alex in the past while the other follows David in the future. There are 2 timeframes in Bo2 not just 1. The dates are literally in the bloody game. The Alex Mason missions in Bo2 are set before the events of Bo6. Cod literally posted videos about this. Use that brain of yours and think, how does it logically make sense for Bo6 to be before Bo2 when woods in Bo6 is being hunted by the Government while in Bo2 he still worked for the goverment/CIA. Woods wouldnt go from being hunted by them to working for them.

Ngl, them having a bunch of stuff about Mason, like the trailer, and the calling card saying hes KIA makes it seem like hes alive. He hasn't really been mentioned, not that I know of anyway, since him being mentioned in BO6 makes it seem like him being shot in the leg is canon.
My money is that Mason is going to be in some season's battle pass as a masked character doing work in the background to keep his identity safe

@@DiversionDude it does, it's at the very end, it's very missable as it's in the last 10 seconds, the guy at the end on the computer is an older alex, he even has the same jacket and if you look at the id card closely, it resembles mason.

I initially thought Adler got back in office but that could be Mason (if its not someone else). Hopefully they justify why he wasn't around for his kid though unless they retcon/reboot BO2's future half for whatever reason

Their blog post is wrong, "Raul Menendez" is Nexus Target and not Nexus One.
BO3 being canon so the BO3 Terminal safehouse document and the old Treyarch video timeline confirms that David killed Menendez in Haiti.
So Alex Mason being alive and Menendez being dead is canon.
And also one huge fact, even if u kill Menendez, it doesnt matter if Harper and Chloe are alive or not since the riot always happens when u kill Menendez.
So Chloe and Harper could probably be back in 2030 campaign COD future game rumor.
