Per Amazon, coloring books are not in the low content category. Low content is Notebooks, Journals, etc. Pages with basically very little content. I think coloring books are more medium content. But you're right that that high content have potential for more money. However, for high content you need more social proof vs medium to low content where someone will buy a book even with 0 reviews. I'm personally motivated by creating coloring/activity books as it's more creativity required vs most high content books that are more about research and writing or outsourcing. I make decent money with medium content. I feel I would not have the same success with high content because writing is not a passion or interest of mine. With that said, there are some high content books that are mainly images but those are very niche.
Sure, you made some good points. Thanks for your input! Your personal aspirations are important, and definitely need to be taken into consideration. If you’re a creative person looking for a hobby or creative outlet, coloring books can be a good choice for you. But if you’re looking for a sustainable source of passive income, coloring books are NOT the way to go as a beginner. In regards to your concern about reviews, non fiction full-content books can get sales even without reviews, or just a few. I see this happen every single day, and I will prove it in my next video!
So glad to see you post! I’m a huge fan of Alexis. Hey the next video you recommended at the end isn’t there. Can you please share the link? Thank you Roberto!
3:48 you see the number of pages and size, as someone who uses kdp you can easily use the calculator and see the royalties are $10. For the coloring book at 6:30 royalties are $2.55 (using the same calculator). Hard to want to follow the rest of the video when the first part is already misleading either on purpose or from lack of knowledge from someone who has been using kdp for 10 years. I've just stumbled upon it, and can calculate the royalties.
@@acceleratedpublishingprogram I don't plan on doing coloring books or low content books :). I'm just saying you misrepresent the values a lot. One you boost up, the other you lower. The "research" for the real values would have taken 2 minutes. Afterwards, if someone takes into consideration the effort for each type of book they can decide for themselves.
In my full coaching program you get 24/7 support and coaching through chat. This is the fastest way to get results. Otherwise, we have a Rapid Masterclass, which is a self paced course with all the basics you need.
Very nice video and thank you for everything you share!! Can I ask you a question? Is it acceptable for Amazon KDP to have two different accounts to upload books of different categories?
Thank you, glad it was helpful! You can have different authors and pen names within the same KDP account, and publish in different categories. Amazon isn’t a fan of creating multiple KDP accounts. If absolutely necessary, you can set up a second KDP account, but only if it’s under a different entity (like an individual or LLC) with separate banking details that aren’t linked to your first account.
@@acceleratedpublishingprogram I think, it can't be in the same household, something to do with the IP address. I have been told that, if one person has a KDP account then a second person at that home can't get an account.
Good point! If you don’t feel comfortable sharing your name publicly, you can use a pen name for your books. It’s completely legal and widely accepted in the industry.

I understand your point, thanks for the observation. However, one dollar more or less doesn’t change the logic behind the strategy :)
Thank you. VERY HELPFUL!!!
You're welcome!
Make a video on how to research a book and making a cover. Thank you
Will do!

Yes, will do!
wheres the link for the case study?
Uploading it soon.
Sir do I need run advertisement for getting order in Amazon KdP or is it possible to get order organically on Amazon KdP?
You can get sales organically, but running Amazon advertising is recommended, particularly during the initial book launch phase.
I have a couple books on Amazon but I'm not making consistent sales!
Send me a message on instagram at acceleratedpublishing and I’ll take a look at them, if you want
@acceleratedpublishingprogram Ok
Hi Roberto & Alexis
Hi!
@@acceleratedpublishingprogram Good morning Sir/Maam,
Can you give me some tips to grow your TH-cam channel?
Does the author name need to be legit? I fear my real name will not sell for the techie book i plan to launch

@acceleratedpublishingprogram Thank you. I will do some research!
Thank you for this video.
Glad it was helpful!
The Diebetic recipes book cover looks more like a magazine cover than an actual book cover...
Magazine-style book covers work very well for cookbooks.
