For this video, I’ll show you how to convert videos to the correct format and watch them on your 2DS/3DS, you don’t need Custom Firmware to do this! The videos come out in great quality with working sound! Videos can be up to an hour long, but the file size would be very large.

For anyone wondering, the max time limit for a video is 10mins. If you have a movie thats like 2 hours long(120mins). It will make divide the movie into 12 parts giving you 12 files.
Are there any options for viewing SBS 3D on this?

@@DollopussD step 1: go to some mp4 converter to get the mp4 of the video
step 2: use the 3ds video converter shown in the video
step 3: load into the latest DCIM folder

You could get a 10-20 minute video and convert the video for 3DS Camera in 2x Tempo (Speed without changing pitch) and set the video to 0.5x on the camera app.

I got a 3ds xl a few months ago and was annoyed that only the new 3ds xl could connect to TH-cam but this will work well :)
Same wish we could of still atleast watched TH-cam online for 3ds xl

Finally, another way to get the 3ds video converter program. This thing is hard to find on the internet nowadays. Also, how long does the 2 Digit number title go for? I know that the default lasts only 10 minutes

This method worked almost perfectly. The only problem was that my 2ds thought that the videos were from 1900... Any ideas on how to change the date of the videos?
does the date matter?
@@mari_teehee I was planning on downloading two anime shows to watch on a road trip but realized that they would all be marked as the same date, therefore mixed up, which would make it tedious to find the right episodes to watch...
i know i am late to this but in DICM you can make new folders with dif dates to separate thing

@@Jake-rq7gv yes it is 240p, however the 3D mode technically doubles the resolution width ways which modders have been able to use to make it run things in 800×240 rather than 400×240 :p

WARNING: If you fail to import the videos correctly on to your 3DS system, This can result in a SD card wipe. as I experienced while trying to put my favorite video on the 3ds. This can also result in console breaking errors and losing ALL of your digital games and save data. so before you put a video on your 3ds. back up ALL the 3ds data.

How do I use the 3D Video feature? I have 2 videos one left and one right, I want to make them into a 3D video for the 3DS, but it only converts one at a time for separate files.
I've been trying to figure that out too, as I have the same problem. Sorry I'm here a year late, but I will reply the solution when I figure it out.

If the vid is more than 10 mins it probs splits the video into parts, but idk about half the screen showing/not showing

late reply, i know; 10 minutes. if you convert a video that's any longer than 10 minutes it will be split into parts

The 3ds has a cap of 10 minutes per video. If you convert anything above that threshold, it will be broken up into multiple videos.

maybe try going all the way to the other end/back to your oldest pics and videos, the date might have been set as 1900 for the converted vids cus it happened with me like that

Tip to save time. Just go to a .mp4 to .avi converter online and convert your video like that
when i download videos they always appear to the left, and cut the screen in half while the right side of the screen is grey when i tried to watch sonic heroes cutscenes

it glows red for me too when i do it pretty sure it just does that to show it's finished, not sure if it helps but you might've selected the wrong location from the browse option, make absolute sure it was from "this pc" and not from onedrive or a user, sometimes if you select from there it might be a backup and not the actual file you're looking for (hope this helps)
