Carter Vintage Guitars - J.D. Simo - 1954-56 Fender Strat

The Strat is a bit of a mongrel - with a '54 body and a '56 neck - but the '59 tweed (re-covered) Twin amp didn't seem to mind. Throw J.D. Simo into the mix and you have a classic blues experience. The Strat and Twin are currently available at Carter Vintage Guitars.

Pat Coughlin fyi, bonnammasa is the one who got him his first record deal, he recognized great talent and wasn't so much into hating as othets seem to be, ahem , cough cough

My very first guitar was a 1954 Stratocaster with a worn out neck; so my brother put a 1960 Jazzmaster neck on it that was in better condition ... it flew out the back of the station wagon early one morning on the Jacksonville expressway when we forgot (TIRED!) to put up the back window ... 25 July 1965. It was NOT a good night for a 17 year-old ...
