Germany can choose to go ahead with vaccinations if they want, as Britain, as part of the EU, has decided to go ahead. They can all make their own emergency decisions re medications. German Chancellor Angela Merkel on Monday praised Ugur Sahin and Ozlem Tureci -- both children of Turkish immigrants in Germany -- for developing a vaccine against the novel coronavirus. Thank you so much.

A walk with a dog in wood is the best antidepressant in the world. I also like the fact that dogs can help to detect the coronavirus faster than tests.

It is necessary I think to appreciate that Dr. Campbell is NOT reading from a pre-written script or tele-prompter: he speaks for over 30 minutes usually with only his notes, shared with us generously, otherwise he is an extempore lecturer.... amazing, since his whole talk (daily usually) is done 'off the cuff' as they say.... but... crammed with details and stats, which are always at his fingertips. A truly amazing man, and certainly a one-off. I greatly admire him.
Thank you once again for a very informative update Dr. Campbell!! How selfish and short-sighted it would be to have family and friends visit over this holiday season.
Peter Hanebury That's why you sick because your staying home or inside building.Staying outside or on the sun heals you quickly. Believe big farma and you gonna end up severely sick or dead. I studied many years, every real knowledge about vaccination including diseases is hidden. Third cause of death in U.S is medical mistakes, drugs approved by FDA which were the reasons people getting seriously sick and often death. If you think they care about your health your so naive. Do the research to safe your life.

Unfortunately my Dad died 3 weeks ago from Covid (not with, from) his funeral was on the same day the first vaccine was given. I hope people don't regret meeting up but not confident at all. Because Covid is just a flu, and it doesn't exist (sarcasm)

I'm in tier two and relieved because I can at least use my patio heater and meet friends in the garden. Most people I know are obeying the rules but a significant minority still think they would rather meet people in the warm and risk covid than be in the cold for an hour or two. I agree postponing Christmas a good idea but I am definitely in the minority on that one.
My family is putting pressure on me to join a family Christmas party at my sister’s small house. They know that I have been avoiding that type of scenario. I have several family members who work in the schools and others who work in hospitals and health care facilities.
If you feel there's a risk, don't attend. Separation from our loved ones isn't permanent. There's next year's celebrations to come so maybe let the joy that will flow from that keep you going. My family won't be travelling to be together this year either. Sad but only a temporary measure. Best wishes.
Dont be pressured Barbara, I'm in a similar position and have decided to visit briefly to deliver presents but won't stay for meal as I know the house won't be well ventilated. Prioritise your health, covid is a nasty disease 💞
Tell them you'll meet them for Easter, it's just such a big risk now because the spread is peaking over Christmas by the look of all curves you see. They're probably concerned about you sitting alone at home, but at the same time it can quite nice with a weekend at home. If you, or anyone dear to you were to fall severely ill, just because you met over at your sisters, you'd probably regret it but then it's too late to do anything about it. Reading a good book at home alone isn't so bad.

Thank you, Dr. Campbell, for all of your videos and your hard work to educate us. I have been watching you since January. Before the virus hit our shores I had already devised a plan to keep my family safe, thanks to your videos. I am over 60, overweight, with asthma and a reactive airway. I get pneumonia most every winter and have trouble getting over it. Thanks to your education efforts, I consider myself high risk. I am the sole caregiver to two young women, my daughter and stepdaughter, who are both developmentally disabled. People with cognitive and developmental disabilities are also high risk, a fact that is often overlooked. I decided to isolate my family as much as possible. I had no idea it would last this long! I guess I hoped we would all do the right thing and the virus would die out. Fortunately, after an adjustment period, my children are thriving on our peaceful, predictable and quiet home. It might feel like Groundhog Day to the rest of us, but for someone with severe intellectual disability, it feels safe. My daughter has never been happier! And she is learning a lot of new skills as a result! Sadly, I have lost an uncle in a nursing home from Covid. My friend and her family gathered with a few extended family members for Thanksgiving. They all came down with Covid, and one has just died today. I keep sharing your videos and trying to educate people. I guess people hear what they want to hear. Thank you for not becoming discouraged and continuing to teach us, because you are saving lives!

After watching your videos for months, for the first time I find myself disagreeing with you, and the government, on the issue of the government not jumping the queue for the vaccine. I am in my 60s and would be happy for cabinet ministers to get vaccinated before me. These are the people running our country, whether or not you agree with how they are doing it. Given the lack of certainty over whether the new variant of covid-19 can be caught by people who have previously had an older variant, I would feel happier knowing that our Prime Minister and all the key people dealing with the myriad affairs of state, including the pandemic, could do so with a degree of immunity. Doctor, you're missing something huge. The collapse in Covid cases in Australia is, I believe, due to the fact that IT'S SUMMER and very little to do with measures taken. In the UK summer we had very few cases, and few restrictions. Vitanin D and being in the open are, I suspect, bigger factors than any lockdowns.
Correct. As soon as it gets cold outside, and more people go inside with the heat on, cases go back up. You could almost match the northern states onset of cold weather with the rapid spread of covid. Here in the US, we made the mistake of relaxing our guard during the summer (when case rates were going down) then it bit us hard when cool weather came.

What your graphs refer to is healthy people with no symptoms testing positive after being tested with a wholly inadequate test. Happy to help!
In Australia they did not only close travel between states but between areas within states. I am not sure about all the details but a family member who lives there told me about it in that he could not visit another family member in a different district of the same state. The rough equivalent for the UK might be to ban travel between counties. It does seem it did work.
After watching your videos for months, for the first time I find myself disagreeing with you, and the government, on the issue of the government not jumping the queue for the vaccine. The news does nothing but show the increasing numbers, but the problem is that the people who disregard public health orders don't watch regular news channels anymore, and in their alternative universe all is well. :( And the rest of us in the state have to hunker down and pray that things return to normal by 2022...
Thank you, Dr. John!

Great explanation, and drawing, of what the mutation is. Thanks.

No comunity spread In Australia but still a lot of people wearing masks and practicing social distancing in busy Christmas shopping ,
That's because we have some intelligence....

The strain of social isolation and mask wearing is a bit tough, but it is pandemic. A once in a lifetime event, can't see, given the death component, why people are so resistant to compliance with minor lifestyle changes. But if sense were common we would all have it...
A couple of months ago the law changed, reducing the burden of proof on suicide, leading to an inevitable increase in recorded cases. I only know because I will be attending the inquest into the death of a counselling client.
Thank you for a another fantastic report Dr. Campbell 👏👏👏
John, you are doing great work. When I see footage of school pupils in the classroom, I am amazed they are not required to wear masks.
Children in secondary are required to wear masks in scottish schools.
None of my grandkids (different schools) have yet had to self isolate. The schools have had them in every day since September - and we are in a Tier 3 area. It CAN be done if the schools are well organised.
Borders should be closed in all Europe. News strains produce new waves. I'm fed up to use my door as a border. (lock down)
Nonsense.
Yes lock everyone up forever. Cause it really works.
Hi Dr did you see that High fructose corn syrup inactivated the D3 vitamin making it inactive.
Russian health authorities said no booze for about 10 weeks before and after getting vaccinated.
@@rodwallace6237 funny!
Dr John vitamin d must be a big factor in this
Obviously he knows that
The side effects of excessive intake of vitamin D are very uncertain. Anorexia, weight loss, frequent urination, and arrhythmia are all possible symptoms. The more serious case is the increase in blood calcium concentration, which causes calcification of blood vessels and tissues, and then damages the heart, blood vessels and tissues. kidney.
The Zoe study didn't really give huge support to Vit D , they only said Vit D therapy may make a marginal difference. Are they just talking about supplement s or treatment for deficient patients.?
@@rickyshun1447
The side effects of *absolutely huge doses* of Vitamin D are "uncertain"
The BENEFITS of achieving and maintaining a *known, healthy* level are extremely well documented AND understood.
Likewise, the debilitating effect of low Vitamin D levels is well known, studied and documented.
Also, the role of Vitamin D in prevention of viral Infection, plus general health cannot be disputed.
There are many medical professionals monitoring both themselves, and their patients, finding much larger doses are required to achieve and maintain a healthy level.

How are Roma communities experiencing this pandemic? They have extreme poverty and serious health issues.
It would depend on where they live, wouldn''t it?
Yes, let's hope they are not putting themselves at risk and are safe. I know some communities are vulnerable.
Come to Luton Airport, as everyday they are flocking to the U.K. to live.
I live in Tennessee and I am not surprised we are that high. The attitude here is "if they don't require masks i refuse to wear one"

Yes I was wondering the same

Mexico approved the Pfizer BioNTech vaccine on Friday - hours before the USA. No word yet on expected deliveries to Mexico. Deaths less than half as many as in the spring. Reasons?
The Court of Appeal in Lisbon, Portugal held that the reliability of the PCR test was “more than debatable” and found that the test was not able to determine infection beyond reasonable doubt. They cited two studies from the British Medical Journal that found that PCR tests were producing 97% false positives.
Shhhhhhh.. don't threaten vaccine profits
@Burt Burlingham Internal investigation? Please, don't make me laugh. If the verdict was incorrect the defendants would appeal to the Portuguese Supreme Court.
Has Cluster five taken hold in The UK ? This should be discussed soon as well as the efficacy of the new vaccines to cluster five . Why , with the UK lockdown are we now seeing such increases ? This is very troubling . We don’t want Covid 20 .
One can wear a mask CONSTANTLY while in a shop, gym or hair salon.
One CANNOT do so in a bar, cafe or restaurant.
The rule makes sense.
You are correct on par for 5 year average. It’s all lies.
@Burt Burlingham the sheep will never wake up on this feed. They enjoy the suffering of others so they can live out another year alone....
Who cares. Just in use the I-MASK protocol and the MATH+ protocol. They should be standard of care.
So why is the virus rampant in South America and Africa?
