One of Europe’s Largest Uncontrolled Landfills Gets a Makeover

This is Europe’s largest unmanaged dump, located just 15 kilometers from the center of Belgrade, Serbia. After absorbing more than 10 million tons of waste over the last four decades, the landfill is closing for remediation. Serbia is constructing a new sanitary landfill, a waste-to-energy plant, and a modern facility that processes construction waste. Watch to learn more.

Process waste is far better than burying it and EFW is far better. There a loot of mony buried there.
