    I have seen a 2-tonne model being launched in Gopeng, Perak. Emissions were full of dark brownish fumes, possibly remnant dust particles. In actual usage, the treatment capacity turned out to be only one tenth of what the inventors / vendors claimed it to be. After 4 mths operation at below par capabilities, it stopped working altogether. As I last saw it, that Asher is still lying dormant there. Can the inventors / vendors offer a responsible and truthful account before launching into more hyped publicity and marketing?

      Not to shoot down a potentially great local idea, but not all the waste is organic. He put in a battery pack. The ashes will contain toxic material which is not suitable for plants or to be disposed off in the river where it could kill fish. And msians throw everything like tyres, mattresses, plastics, styrofoam, etc etc. Even in ash form it's not organic.

  • @BlitzboyGaming
    @BlitzboyGaming 4 ปีที่แล้ว +50

    I sounds like perfect waste disposal and waste treatment solution, however I am still skeptical. The whole video did not show or mentioned about what comes out at the other end of the process , however just shows the end product, which is the ashes. I am like to see at the end of the process how the workers removed the treated waste residue from the machine.

    I'm glad to see an efficient and a practical solution to waste management.
    Perhaps we could also find a way to reuse water. Water is precious and we could run out water soon as Malaysia's population grows. So, any water we use say from shower or watering plants could go down the drain and from there to the water treatment plant to be reused. Sort of a renewed use of water conservation.

    • @hplooi
      @hplooi 4 ปีที่แล้ว +25

      @@natsuyouchan2 Let me give you the 'basics' of heat treatment. You have straight incineration (burning). Even in burning you have various technology e.g. stoker grate, cyclone furnace, high temperature (plasma burning) etc. You also have non-burning-heat-treatment such as pyrolysis and gassification. BUT whatever the technology (especially last two) IT IS NOT TRUE THAT YOU CAN JUST THROW EVERYTHING INTO THE SYSTEM and expect solid to be the useful by product. IT IS ALSO NOT TRUE THAT ANY NEW INVENTION HAS COME OUT INRE MSW HEAT TREATMENT least of all the above claims...
      Ahhh yes output fertiliser. Recycled biomass converted to fertiliser (whether from combustion, biodigester OR high temperature reduction) cannot be graded "food-grade" (i.e. can be used to grow food-grade crops) unless vigorous QC is implemented to remove toxic raw material input e.g. batteries, plastics etc. The video EXPLAIN NOTHING it just throw around a lot of buzz word without explaining anything to a techno geek like me. Try googling and wiki all above (incineration, plasma burning, gassification, pyrolysis etc) just to have a basic understanding. The NET is full of "high-tech" scam e.g. "Terano" or the magic bottle which extract water from the atmosphere...

    What Malaysia needs is not a machine to dispose of waste, but a change in attitude by Malaysians to deal with their litter effectively.
    This could be a beautiful country, but it’s a rubbish tip the result of neglect, irresponsibility and lack of national pride
    But as is usually the case, Malaysians opt for the quick fix meanwhile ignoring the real problem....Malaysians

      Even if every single malaysian cease to litter, the areas needed for landfills will gradually increase as our consumerism mindset grows as our wealth accumulates. Inventions like these will reduce the need for landfills as the trash will straight turn into ash thus reducing the need for landfills

    Government did built warehouse sized incinerator at Pulau Langkawi around 10 years ago. Imported from overseas and millions of Ringgit spent. Only operated for few months and the island was back to landfill ever since.

      Its not an incinerator don't confuse the two technologies. This is a thermal decomposition machine.

    How do you maintain such a high temperature of 1100 celcius? He said that the electricity was only used to run the air scrubber and filtration system.

    • @VongolaSekundes
      @VongolaSekundes 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      absolutely. steel gets softened at 500 degrees, even if their melting point is around 1200 degrees. So it is highly unlikely this machinery can go above 500.

    • @hplooi
      @hplooi 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@VongolaSekundes Precisely. Straight incineration do NOT go beyond 500degC (or 800degC). Only a plasma furnace can go beyond 1000degC. Plasma furnace can be used either as straight plasma incineration OR plasma pyrolysis. BUT by the looks of the machine it don't look like a plasma furnace to me. A plasma furnace is typically shaped cylindrical or like a large bottle with temp-resistant brick lining.

    good attempt, kudos to the Inventor. At least we could first use this to treat the household garbage for food and organic waste only. That is the largest in term of volume of waste produced. Next, the isolated plastics and electronic products would have to go for special treatment. At least, we should agree to treat the domestic waste AFTER segregation of plastics and other electronics waste.
