Cool dream car, one of my best friends owns one and it's a fantastic car. It's the performance edition so it's got 605bhp and it's a beast. Not horrendously expensive to own either. As long as they're driven conservatively more than they are floored, the fuel consumption, for a v8 is fantastic.

Had a 79 celica stick, 83 Corolla 4dr stick, 82 corolla hatch back stick, 18 sienna se premium. Now have a 14 lexus gs & 24 tx. All great cars. Brief story about my 83 Corolla... Driving it full of friends in NYC (mid 90s) and a piston went bad, made it back home to jersey. Next morning started it up and drove it. Drove it for the next 4 years with 3 cylinders. Took trips to great adventures and beaches without hesitation. Starter went and always parked it on a hill to pop the clutch. Car would not die until the body started rotting. Went through a flooded road and water gushed out on my passenger through the floor 😂... But It kept going. Always made it home. Left it parked in my driveway after I bought a Acura Integra stick. Fun times lots of laughs in it. Toyota, oh what a feeling! 👍 My go to car. Looking for any old toyota stick for fun and people asking way too much for one. I'm good.
Listen @pe456nj All those Toyotas, They should be paying you to drive their cars at this point. 😅 My grandma had 10 kids and I swear all of my aunts and uncles drove some form of a Toyota at some point in my life! Now my mom and I drive one. My oldest gifted herself the new 2024 Prius Prime (its a hybrid and like driving a spaceship the "punch" is out of this world). Once years ago I went to close the windows in mine and move her forward a little bit but the battery had died. I went in the house got distracted and totally forgot about it. The next morning she started up like she hadnt struggled before ...thats when it dawned on me that oh yeah, she didn't start up before. I guess she was just tired or something.😅 I thought it was strange and then shrugged it off thinking well dang!, my car can fix itself. 😂. Even though shes resilient, I do take care of her. Also, you might be able to find an old car with a stick shift if you search something like car graveyard or old abandoned cars. There are videos on you tube where people go looking for classic cars that have been abandoned. I stumbled on a website that seemed to have a database of and how ro find old cars. I don't remember the name as I was looking for the address of one of the local salvage yards near by. But I'm sure you can find it somewhere on Google. (Make sure it doesn't have the word Ad in the search results. If any search results have the word Ad next to it, they'll try to sell you something or charge you just to browse the site) Happy hunting

I still remember the day I got inside of my Godmothers Lexus in 2018 first time ever. It was the smoothest ride I’ve ever been on. It felt like I was floating.
I had the Lexus RX 400 that was made in 2006 for 5 years. I put a hitch on that and toted up the Colorado Rockies. I drove cross country with that b**** twice. We traveled. That is one of the most reliable vehicles I've ever had. I accidentally totaled it and got a Ford. It caught fire within the first week of me having it. Apparently it's on a recall list, but because I'm in California can't do anything about it. Lexas is the goat
My 25 year old Lexus still runs. The same engine and automatic gearbox from the factory. Still running and every switch is working. Because of the new emission rules (so the ootheads can breathe clean air), it became very expensive to drive it.
My dad had a 1992 Toyota previa minivan. We grew up with that van and as we became adults, he would take the grandkids to school with that same van. It reached 300k+ miles. So many memories with it and it never ever gave us problems. Towards the end of its life, it was time to get rid of it. He got himself another Toyota.
I. Love my Lexus. Got it from my mom hahaha. Was the first car I learned to drive on. It took a decade but I finally found my way back to it realizing it was just easier for me to drive, lasted longer, and frankly just had more space and was more low key in the ways i was starting to like. It’s an awesome car and if it ever dies I’ll hold a funeral and mourn, then buy another Lexus.
22 year old Lexus just did 1000 miles in the UP mostly off road. Sand dunes, mountains, water crossing, dirt, gravel, high speed, crawling, camping, etc Everything still works.
I drive a 1998 Lexus GS 400. I currently have 390,000 miles on it. The engine is original, as well as many of the parts. It's still such a smooth ride. I love what Lexus/Toyota was able to create regarding longevity and reliability.
Toyota crown is designed for the Japanese market Lexus cars are designed for western market The definition of luxury is different for each and you can see that in the design language of each car
WIS like to see Seiko/GS as parallel to Toyota/Lexus. That may be true in terms of marketing and brand image but to me Lexus is like Rolex meaning they do the simple things well and made to take abuse better than most.
Its always interesting to see peoples faces when you mention Lexus cars in a conversation. US limited their export so making a luxury brand would help them export more cars yearly. Toyota came out with lexus and was too successful. American and euro lux car brands lobby for increased tariff. Toyota and other jdm companies agreed to build factories in US and small % will be exports from japan rather than paying the increased tariffs
Where im from toyota is the luxury. My town is in a rural area but the biggest city in that rural area so everybody loves toyota for their 4x4s work vehicles and sports cars.the interiors are always super nice on new ones and the old ones are just absolutely indestructable
And i guess he also spoke Japanese? Not to mention Japanese people only do business with Japanese people for the most part or that they never work with black people.
One of my best cars was my 1996 Toyota Avalon! I almost bought a Lexus 15k more expensive, but I was not that convinced...I remember the seller telling me: " look man, go to see my brother at Toyota, they have the luxury Toyota",....he opened the Lexus hood to show me the motor, while telling me " it is the same motor than the Avalon, but this one is the lowest package of Lexus", and yes, wheel rims were simple, handles inside were nothing luxurious, etc. So I went to see the brother and boy! He brought the top of the line, black color, sporty look, low profile, titanium rims, 12 CD player!, handles and leather interiors so luxury and sleek, on top of that, same motor, a 6 horses with the power sport push bottom! ...and...tinted windows!!! I kept that sweet car 12 years!...I miss that boy, I had to go out of the country and couldn't keep it!
@@jaydahgee5890The Lexus advertising division debunked it in an interview years ago. “Luxury Export to the US” was just made up, the brand name has no specific meaning. They were just launching a premium brand to keep up with competitors, Honda (Acura) and Nissan (Infinity).
If I was Toyota and somebody asked me about this. I would also say the name was random and we just randomly took the same cars and changed the logo. Come on. Use ur brain nobody is going to tell the truth and this is most definitely the truth
And Lexus is still the best car I have ever purchased. Selling it though. Not because disappointed but I went cheapest one from their 2022 lineup. Now getting a good big one and I will happily pay more for it.
My first car was a 2004 corolla, i got in 2012 and even then it ran like new. I had it for 4 years until it was totaled when a wrangler hit me. Best car i ever owned.
I used to be hardcore GM buyer. But after giving Toyota and Lexus a chance, I'll never go back. I bought a Toyota Tundra last year with 262,000 miles on it with full confidence. Have had it for a year and almost have 300,000 on it now and haven't had one thing break on it yet.
The Lexus LS400, which was their first car ever produced, completely redefined the market on luxury cars in the US. It was a top end sedan while also being as reliable as a Toyota and not having the same issues as BMW and Mercedes.

My last toyota i had for 15 years, no major issues. I currently have another camry and hope to have it for a while. I may look into getting a Lexus, although i was never keen on it before.
Toyota/Lexus to the world. I never want to drive or own another brand.
Same. Owning a Toyota has saved me so much money that I can buy a Lexus now with cash and no loans.
I grew up to be a Audi guy (obviously bc I’m German) and my dream car is still a Audi RS7, but currently I‘m driving a 2019 Toyota Corolla lounge edition, and it‘s so freaking awesome. Has all the tech, the fun, the agility and all the safety I could wish for. Big up Toyota
Cool dream car, one of my best friends owns one and it's a fantastic car. It's the performance edition so it's got 605bhp and it's a beast. Not horrendously expensive to own either. As long as they're driven conservatively more than they are floored, the fuel consumption, for a v8 is fantastic.
Buy an hilux
Audi or BMW all day mate..
And Japanese obviously ❤
2 years ago I was nearly homeless with no job or car. Today I have my own car and in process of moving out with a federal job. God is good!
Bro slipping in a fun fact
Let me guess, it's not a Toyota 🤣 naw gj tho bro that must feel good. Keep goin.

All glory to the Father.
Congrats on the federal jon. Sucking on the big teet that is the US government can make for a comfortable life.
My mom has a 24 years old Toyota Yaris...
Just change the oil and the tires has at least 120000 kilometers.
That car is a war machine!
❤Toyota❤
I miss my Yaris so much. Never failed me. Upgraded to a CHR. Toyota forever!
Ya, I loved my Yaris. Would still have it if I wasn't rear ended at a stop light by somebody on their phone.
My father mazda 3 got 250km and still works fine
I loved my yaris that thing had 264k miles on it and it was still going strong
I'd probably still have it today if I hadn't gotten into an accident with it
God bless you and down with satan‼️✝️✝️✝️
Currently driving a Toyota and will till the wheels fall off. Then I'll get myself a Lexus once I've established myself financially

I've never seen the wheels fall of. You sure that's a possibility?
I have a 2003 Tacoma since 2012. And it's still going strong. I have a 1998 LS400 for 5 years. And it's a car ive driven up and down california. The quality and reliability for both of these are insane.
My grandma had 10 kids and I swear all of my aunts and uncles drove some form of a Toyota at some point in my life! I guess she was just tired or something.😅
I thought it was strange and then shrugged it off thinking well dang!, my car can fix itself.
Look what u did in it that's why they don't wanna give it away🔥💯

LOVE Toyotas! On my 5th one now, upgrading every time 😊
I love Toyotas. I own a forerunner. It was built in Japan. I bought it in 1999 right now. It’s got almost 300,000 miles and it’s all original and still running. My son. Drove it for five years and now my daughter is driving it. It’s been the best truck I’ve ever owned it’s amazing. The paint might not look good after. It’s 27 years old and the drivetrain is original paints falling off, but that should be expected. we raised two children in this vehicle and now these children drive it around I love it thank you Toyota. Thank you for building a solid vehicle.
Love reliability and quality. Love luxury. I’m grateful for Lexus. I always hated the idea of compromising practicality for luxury.
I drive an Avalon. it's my 2nd one. upgraded from Camrys. Also had a Tundra and a Tacoma. thinking about upgrading to a Lexus in the next year
I upgraded from an Avalon to an Avalon last year 😅 Great car! I've also had the hilux! Will definitely get another in the future!
okay and? I have a skoda but i don't comment about it on youtube. Please go count some grass.
Don't just stick with what you have
Just change you toyota lexus and will become lexus is cheaper
You want lxury lexus isnt even a honda have more luxury then lexus
My Dad got his Camry 2015, it will turn 10 years old mext year and it still runs good. Now I'll be aiming for a Lexus when I graduate and start my career
I bought my 1st Lexus last year and thing is amazing....brings smile on my face every time I drive
2024 fully loaded Camry looks pretty luxurious
Not compared to the Lexus ES or GS or the IS which is a bit smaller. The ES interior quality for the price is insane.
Toyota's still use those squishy brakes. No thanks.

You mean traction for fake business stories?
""The brand Lexus combines the Latin “luxus” and the French “luxe” as symbols of elegance and sumptuousness, together with the Greek “lexicon” meaning language. Many people believe Lexus stands for “Luxury Export To The United States”, or a similar variation - fitting as Lexus was first released to the USA market in 1989.
However, this theory has been discredited by the Japanese Lexus advertising division Team One. According to Team One interviews, the brand name has no specific meaning and simply denotes a luxurious and technological image.""

As an owner of a 25 year old Tundra still running today and a 2024 Lexus Rx350 F Sport. I am absolutely pleased with my purchases.
He’s great at breaking things down in the simplest terms!👍🏾
Just sold my 08 Avalon with 420k kms in it. Got my 2012 lexus rx350. I always love Toyota and lexus.
The Iron Man 2 scene was nice 😂
Almost missed that😂
I’m so glad someone else noticed!

Lexus LC500- one of the nicest interiors in a car I’ve ever driven. And I’ve owned Aston Martins, BMWs, Alfa Romeo, ect.
And i still love Lexus, i had one for a few years and it was a hybrid! I miss her dearly! I named her Alexis! 😅😅😅 she was a really good car!
What happened to it
I adored my 98 Lexus GS300. Great car. 298k miles before the 2JZGE seized. Such a fun, reliable car
2jzge is so good. I’m importing a 97 Toyota crown with 37,000 miles with that engine in it. I’m so excited
@grubalaboocreosote4774 I swapped mine to the motor from a totaled 01 GS300 with 141k on it. Like 3 months later, I totaled it 😥
@grubalaboocreosote4774 but yet. Incredibly responsive for an NA engine. The cars the only kinda car I've seen stay luxurious for 30 years
Ik I still have mine and it's at 260 k milesits spectra mica blue
Wonder why it seized at 298k I’ve seen some with 400k+ did the timing belt snap?
Great video. Editing kept me hooked, the subject offered me knownledge
My 25 year old Lexus still runs. The same engine and automatic gearbox from the factory. Still running and every switch is working. Because of the new emission rules (so the ootheads can breathe clean air), it became very expensive to drive it.
reliability is a luxury feature in my opinion
Yea but this is rich people were talking about.
I'm definitely getting a Lexus as my next car. Their legacy is quality and durability.
I loved the Congress scene from Iron Man 2 you used.
Smart man! Lexus is highly underrated.
There is opportunity in every problem
And then they made the lfa and it didn't really fit in lexus lol

I own a lexus and didnt even know it was that popular
Sand dunes, mountains, water crossing, dirt, gravel, high speed, crawling, camping, etc
Everything still works.
I've got a 2000 Lexus. 250k miles and it runs amazingly. I paid $2k, cannot beat it with a stick

@@gaylepeeples9749 RX300 here. Works great for my business too. Hope I can get to 500 one day
250k on a Toyota or Lexus is like 50k miles
I drive a 1998 Lexus GS 400. I currently have 390,000 miles on it. The engine is original, as well as many of the parts. It's still such a smooth ride. I love what Lexus/Toyota was able to create regarding longevity and reliability.
Toyota crown is a luxury Toyota
Toyota crown is designed for the Japanese market
Lexus cars are designed for western market
The definition of luxury is different for each and you can see that in the design language of each car
bro, reab about Toyota Century.
Just like Seiko have Seiko 5, Sport, Normal Seiko and Grand Seiko
omg i had the same idea like seiko the toyota of watches
But under the same brand umbrella (SEIKO).
Lexus is a separate (from Toyota corporation) branding case, thus quite different.
WIS like to see Seiko/GS as parallel to Toyota/Lexus. That may be true in terms of marketing and brand image but to me Lexus is like Rolex meaning they do the simple things well and made to take abuse better than most.
It's good to hear LEXSPORT HYPER🔥👌🏻
think about it man.
Im a Chevy guy. Recently been driving a 2022 Toyota Camry se nightshade; amazing car.
Owning a Lexus and a Toyota is way better than owning other brands.
Its always interesting to see peoples faces when you mention Lexus cars in a conversation. Usually people talk about the battle between Audi, Mercedes and BMW, but since I want Lexus, I'll bring that up and people are initially surprised to hear the name but always a nod of respect and thoughtfulness when they realize the reputation that Lexus has
Unfortunately, lexus best sellers are thier cheapest cars, their upmarket cars do not sell well as other brands.
Yes, but do those other brands have the reliability? When you have so much money, perhaps that's not important.
@taralalram recent lexus/toyota are very problematic cars...for example twin turbo v6 is extremely unreliable
@@kgpaxnope, still the most reliable cars. They had issues with the new v6 and will stand by their product and fix it, 100k vehicles affect out of the millions they sell.

I’ve been to the Middle East and Latin America for work and witnessed first hand how durable the Toyota brand truly is; however, I’m not driving my F-Sport there 🤷🏽♂️

lexus is just amazing. the reliability you expect from toyota and the luxury you want from a high end brand
The trick is to share a myth with confidence and no one will question it..
Heard a great quote like this today, "Ignorance is a great authority."
We question it.....
Bro is just capping, that’s not the story 💀
What's the story then
US limited their export so making a luxury brand would help them export more cars yearly. Toyota came out with lexus and was too successful. American and euro lux car brands lobby for increased tariff. Toyota and other jdm companies agreed to build factories in US and small % will be exports from japan rather than paying the increased tariffs
@@Kgosi_Kebeilwe look it up mate, a simple google search will get you a direct qoute from Lexus.

The Lexus has Toyota engines XD
Not a bad thing at all. That's a selling point.
Toyota Engine Tune By Yamaha
It's literally the same car...
This is cap btw, i watched this a while ago and believed it but later found out tgat it was just a guess.

Lexus is a great luxury. Nice interieor and good power. The IS AWD are fun to drive.
Using a clip from Iron Man 2 with Gary Shandling as your board meeting reference is hilarious.

The Lexus LS400, which was their first car ever produced, completely redefined the market on luxury cars in the US. It was a top end sedan while also being as reliable as a Toyota and not having the same issues as BMW and Mercedes.
