Part of why I love watching you cook in your videos... is we have SUCH different methods/styles! So it's fascinating! And I'm tempted to make a cucumber jam, now!
I low key love that the vendor didn't have to go cups! Like... he could have let that stop him from even selling it, but instead he realizes that some people travel with their own containers so it won't be a real problem!
Hey Karen, I was just wondering about your cat you brought back to the states with you. I was also wondering what type of sugar you use in San Cris. I have the same electric water kettle as you and I love it! I even make room for it in my luggage. This girl needs her early morning pour over or tea 😊 Salud 🥂
I could not live without a kettle ☺️. I use the standard sugar here but it’s not as white as in the US and has a bit of a caramel flavor, so I’m guessing is not as processed (not sure). And got kitty, she’s living her best life in the US, so we opted not to bring her since we would only be here for 3 months. I’ll try to give more details on my next vlog. It’s a cute story.
Hola amiga... so you guys are moving back to the US? I am leaving Mexico in mid-summer but to another latin american country. I don't think I can move anywhere else where I do not have the mercados 🤪. The mercados in PV are so different. I miss the Tiangis that I had in CDMX. Sending healing vibes 🙏

You should!!! So yummy

In that moment, I did wish I had a container ☺️
I've been rinsing fresh veggies with drinking water and a bit of vinegar. Seems to do the trick.
I still do berries like that but a local friend almost didn’t eat at my house because I didn’t wash veggies with soap 😂

We are! At the end of this month. Can’t wait to hear where you’ll end up next!
I want jam now.
😂
I have never heard of tomato or cucumber jam, so interesting! Do you use them as condiments?
Yes, although, the cucumber one is also good alone
