Bill Paxton also played a role in Predator 2. Since Predator and xenomorphs exist in the same universe and Alien franchise takes place in the future, it would be interesting if Hudson was a descendant of Paxton’s character in Predator 2
I’m of course not saying direct descendant in terms is some-number times great grandfather/grandson since we don’t know if Paxton’s character in Predator 2 had any kids, but maybe something like number times great nephew/uncle or something like that. A familial line to explain why two of Paxton’s characters from the same universe but generations apart share same traits besides the fact they both were played by the same actor
The thought actually occurred to me after seeing both Aliens and Predator 2 for the first time (albeit on two separate dates each). It helped that I had already seen Alien vs Predator before watching either franchise as that’s what got me into both franchises
My favorite is the original. Kane getting torn apart by the chest buster was magnificent. It was ALSO the most genuine and iconic in horror movie history. You touched on how the directors and producers didn't share with the whole crew what was about to happen to Kane. They REALLY thought he was dying of a heart attack and then their shock was really something. When I first saw that as a kid, I was shocked, but the word "spoilers" wasn't really a thing back in 1979. Kids talked about movies ahead of time all the time and I still wanted to see it. I remember it was on cable where I saw it for the first time, and I was VERY sick with a stomach virus. Let's just say when that scene happened, I got VERY sick and that was the only time that ever happened to me during a horror movie. Were it not for the stomach virus (or whatever it was) I'd have not gotten sick. Add to that there wasn't any such thing as "pause" on live TV so my Dad had to let the movie go while he tended to me, and we were both trying to watch the movie and clean poor me up while it was going. I'll never forget that moment as I shared in its "gore." Funny but memorable moment for my father and I (rest his soul). Thank you again, for all your content. I have passed on the Alien Franchise to my 13-year-old son over the years and this past weekend, we saw Alien: Romulus and LOVED it. Were I not so far away from a pay period at the time we'd have gone to see it twice in a row. :) Awesome stuff.
Oh wow that is quite the experience with that scene. No wonder it stays in your mind. A great story to tell people though. I'm glad to hear you both enjoyed Romulus, I also loved it. Such a welcome addition to the franchise
I think deaths of Boggs and Rains in Alien 3 are the most brutal and shocking in franchise. And Spike's of course. Alien 3 is definitely the most brutal film in Alien saga. And death of Lambert.

Damn never even thought of that. You're right. Good call 💥
Ooh I love that idea

@@ashleighstratmann7783 it's a legit theory I love it 💥

Great list and analysis of the importance of each kill. Plus, I like your new hairstyle.
Kane’s death also made number 2 in Bravo’s 100 Scariest Movie moments.
Aliens also made the countdown but the scene used was when the facehuggers attacked Ripley and Newt
Thanks for your hard work and research Sarah! I really need to watch this franchise.
Yeah don't watch this if you haven't. It's well worth checking out. I forgot just how much I love it.
Awesome list sis!👉🏼🙂👈
Thank you

Great video. So fun to go through all of them again.
Thank you, I'm so glad you enjoyed them! I had so much fun going through and picking some for the list. So many great kills
No mention of ‘AVPR: Aliens vs Predator - Requiem’? 😂 No need.
It'd be impressive since you can't see anything going on in that one!
🤣🤣 exactly
Let's not mention Requiem
Chief Engineer Parker should have made the ALIEN list, imo. He had a good character arc: from selfish to selfless.

Yeah Boggs and Rains deaths were good. To be honest there are so many good ones to choose from.
@@whatthehorror exactly.
How about bishops death.....that was pretty gruesome being ripped apart with white blood gushing out of his mouth
