I’m incredibly proud of how far you’ve come and happy that you two have one another. I can’t imagine the stress of having to live on the streets. The closes thing was living at my grandma’s run down trailer in the middle of nowhere sleeping on her hardwood floor with only a hamper of clothes to my name. No job. I felt defeated. Useless and worthless. Suicidal thoughts. Fast forward I have a full time job my own apartment. Still navigating through those mental thoughts but pushing through. I wish you two the best. I hope things start looking up. I’m imaging how you will decorate your place (I love interior design) and the joy on both of your faces. Manifesting good things. Positive things for you two.
Congratulations on your accomplishments on moving forward with your life and the progress you have made!! Please remember to hold gratitude for all you have and the strides you have made!! Mental days are very normal for all of us...we all have them!! One step one day at a time!!

I enjoy watching your journey here. What I like about you guys are that you guys go out and work and try really hard to get out of your situation while some people come on youtube and dry beg but they aren’t actively trying to get any job. It’s much easier to donate to someone selling flowers on the side of the road than someone pan handling. Not to say those who panhandle don’t deserve it. But life out here is hard for many and there are a lot of people trying to scam people who do want to help. Keep your heads up! You guys will persevere through.

I was homeless for 3 years n thank God i met a lady who helped me. She even furnished my home. Now im a nurse and happy. So I will always give back. Love u both

When I was on the streets of Hollywood as a teen . A restaurant on the blvd would give us food out back .
It would be food that they would throw away at the end of the day ..
we panhandled in the sixties .
So been there done that in the hippie days .
But there are a lot more homeless , people lost their jobs during covid . Living in their RV’s if they are lucky enough to have one . I Pray God , Blesses you and helps you get up on your feet , so you can get jobs . Hugs ..
I absolutely LOVE your guys story. I believe you guys are soulmates the way u guys met and the way you both support each other through the hard times . You guys have stuck together through all of this and I know it’s been hard BUT you did it together. I will say you sound a bit more upbeat and less negative!! Good job!! Your testiment now is really how creativity can work in certain situations!! You allowed the flow of ideas to work thru you to manifest having your needs met!! In a different perhaps unconventional way also❤❤❤

You guys are such a beautiful couple.. So proud of you guys. I remember when I broke my wrist lost my job and living in a transitional house and pushing my belongs around. So I get it. I love the homeless so much. I will continue and pray for you guys God is so faithful!

I been watching since day one and if your both homeless anyone can become homeless because I seen you guys try so hard and not give up . Both educated and great ppl . Wake up America it’s not only drug addicts that become homeless. These two deserve so much for the way they work and hustle. I pray 🙏 for you guys .
Hey guys! Unfortunately, my family and I are joining you in your journey for housing. I don't know if you remember, probably not because you're growing so fast! But... I had left you a comment last month saying that we were at risk too and lo and behold, despite a payment plan with our landlord, he still evicted us. So, thankfully my husband is employed with a decent paying job and we are able to stay in a hotel for now but for hiw long? We can't save this way but we can't bring our 14 year old son to sleep in our SUV or a campground, so long story short - I understand your plight. I'm happy to see the title and hope to hear some good news by the end of this video. Sending you love and many prayers. 💙🫂

Have you tried looking for a care giving job , a house where someone wants you to watch their property or take care of their livestock ?
You get rent free for watching the house and livestock ?
Essentially that’s what we are doing already. Except obviously not long term. We do look for those positions though

Jes, that statistic on how homelessness reduces life expectancy is frightening.
The last time I was homeless I was in a horrible, emergency transitional bedsitter (unit where the lounge is also the bedroom). The bathroom was covered in black mould and it covered all my suitcases and stuff and when I left I took the pillow case off my pillow and the pillow even had mould on it. But I had nowhere else to go and had to stay there 5 mths. Well guess what, I had a reoccurrence of cancer staying there, and now it’s terminal. It really wouldn’t surprise me of the stress of homelessness (and two very stressful, temporary places I stayed in before that one) and the black mould was breathing in, in the emergency accommodation, and the hopelessness and utter despair I was feeling over it all, caused the cancer to come back. So that statistic scares the heck out of me.
I totally know the feeling of panic, anxiety, isolation, despair and hopelessness you are talking about. To add to it the pain and disbelief at how ‘friends’ and ‘family’ turn their back on you and are quite happy to let you live (or die) on the streets.
You and Jay are real, and tell the truth about homelessness and other things. Keep being real. It helps me just to know I have not been alone in what I have suffered. I really hope you guys get your own place soon. I’m praying you will.
I am so mad at the housing crisis that is run by greed and selfishness. If places were affordable, especially for those on low incomes, the disabled and sick, and the poor, the jobless etc, there would not be so much homelessness. They have allowed the property market to become an investment hobby for rich people who don’t give a stuff who they put on the streets. Safe, affordable housing should be a human right. In my opinion it’s time for a massive revolution and revolt when it comes to housing.
By the way, I know exactly what it is like the feel that cold too. It hurts every muscle and bone in your body. Well done for you both to go and do a clean when you were both so cold and nutritionally deprived. I know that would have been so hard. I’ve also had to do house cleans when I felt like I couldn’t physically or mentally go on any longer.
Please don’t ever give up guys. It might take some time, but I am confident you will have your own place again one day.

Just know that when someone gives to you it is a blessing to them. They want to help ! And God says He will re-pay. Its not a burden! The bible says - He who shuns the poor? Shows contempt for their maker. At least you have a car to sleep in and someone reliable with you. Hope things get better. Prayers for you.

Just think about..your a very intelligent woman. I can see it when you talk. Remember this is temporary.....doing that is permanent..... things will get better.. but if you end it you will never know it. This will be something to talk about when you and jay are old and grey sittting on your porch laughing about this time of your life thinking im glad we didnt tske that route because you wouldnt know just how stron you both really are

OK, so if you guys are housesitting that is an opportunity you can look for jobs. You can go on interviews and come back there and then once you get the job you’ll go to another housesitting place and you’re getting paid and you could pay for a hotel room and then look for jobs I mean if you get what I’m saying, I’m sure people have told you this before though.
I'm sure you have seen more than this video to know they have anxiety and other conditions that make it harder. They are starting/growing a business. Watch the other videos to understand what I mean
I watch the addicts in kensington that are homeless, they all say they couldn't stay homeless and not take drugs , there's ex addicts out there interviewing them and putting it on utube, this might be a little money maker for you to interview people on the streets, it might help you too , and another thing we have in the uk is a local mp , we go to for help with things like being homeless, I don't know what it's like we're you are , is there social services or citizens advice you could go to , this is heartbreaking, I'm searching for new videos of you to see how your doing, days go by we don't here from you , please set up a go fund me your so deserving, it could only take a week to get you a van , you can turn into a home or even one that's already made into a home , if you were here were I live I would give you my spare room, I hate seeing you so lost , I'm praying for you both , something good will come from this , it's happening for a reason,
We did have a gofundme but we were getting alot of hate and I let it get to me and I took it down

There's still a long list of people ahead of them in housing it can take years. That's how it is where I live , but I think it's the same there
We’ve said it a million times, we are in that list already. It’s years long in this part of California
Well you if your married and you own a car and have more then $1500 you won’t get ssi they will denie you

Can you go here? Girl there’s a place here where I live called CBI community bridges where there is places that will help U sign up get ur paper work together and since he is SsDI disability check .. I know some people here that yes the lost was years … but they were able to get in faster the. The years wait BUT sign up do not not sign up because the 2-5 years will pass U Never know . where U will be

When i get the rest of what i need to get for my van/camper im going to be coming that way anyway would you reach out to me with things i can get for you both and we can meet up. Im not a crazy ol lady just a mama of grown son and more time on my hands that i need. I am disabled and have a mobile wheel chair. And my jail days are long gone. So im not out to hurt you or bring you negative vibes. I do worry about both of you. Im 56 yrs old. I been where you are at one time or another..

I see you two as survivors , as apposed to being people giving up on life Listening to this video I see it’s quite the opposite . You spoke about Jay paying the bills shows your responsible drive and the your truth he spoke how the challenges that stack against the light at the end of the tunnel . We are but paid housesits are much more rare. We got one and almost got another but it was canceled which really put us behind on the car situation.-Jay

I have compassion for you and others in your situation. I would like to share however, some thoughts. An idle mind is the devil’s workshop. It’s best to stay busy. You really need to go out on a limb and find steady work. Take steps to insure that you’re housed and safe. There are plenty of fears. I know, I have had them and they can be stifling. But you have to work. I am 63 years old, have had two back surgeries and I don’t feel well in my head and my body at times. But, I know that I have to keep going to work so that I can have medical insurance and a roof over my head. Plus, it gives me less time to dwell on my head stuff. Please don’t take this offensively. I understand that you both have been through a rough time. You can put that behind you by being proactive and productive. Move forward so that you can look back and see how far you’ve come. This is not the end to your story. You just have to push yourselves. God bless and keep you,

I totally understand. My family would not take me in if I were in this situation. It can be hard to understand but unfortunately family like this does exist. The family is just wrapped up in themselves and want no one else to upset them. That’s what my particular situation is. Idk about Jes and Jays families but I get it.

What is a community social media page? Like Facebook? In itself no one should be without shelter but I cannot Imagine homelessness (being female) female in reproductive age, especially. That has to be extremely difficult! Sometimes the only thing that helps is pampering yourself and creature comforts . Hot bath, candles, etc.

Our email is in our bio ( might have to access it through laptop/computer). And yes it sucks to be homeless in general but homeless as a menstruating female is awful
