Let's just assume I'm socially inept. "cool"? Im suppose to understand where you are coming from? No, you don't demand others see things your way, BUUUUT yes if we are to be of the same feather. Did I misrepresent the undertone of your statement?...or...Where you being sympathetically sarcastic for Jack Rebney and his plight?...or...Do you feel that Jian Ghomeshi was being condescending, trite, or trivial in his manufactured outtakes spliced together? ...or...am I simply suppose to get where you are coming from? "Jesus" people are so f'king dumb these days....ahh, I apologize, I forgot its your take that I have to get right.
Irony: Jian is well regualated, soft spoken, and reasonable....but what happened to him again? hmmm?...and who gives a f'k about where he is now, right?
He's only angry in the outtakes because he's frustrated. We all get frustrated like that sometimes. The video is so funny because we would all love to be able to blow off steam like that!
Here because Netflix running Winnebago Man. Great job Jack and Ben...loved the documentary, fantastic! Jack could read the phonebook and it would sound like the best thing ever. :-)
Winnebago fired Jack because of that behavior because it was a poor representation of them as a company, they’d never sell a surplus of RV’s with him in their employ. Little did they know, thirty years later, that type of behavior was so entertaining it made a bunch of us WANT to buy a Winnebago.
Jack is so fascinating, such a great orator. I'm captivated every time he speaks. It's like watching an artist who is well adept at their craft, effortlessly creating a beautiful art piece, full of depth and nuance.
Jack Rebney is the Living embodiment of Howard Beil (Beal) the crazed Newscaster from the 70's classic Network. Which starred William Holden & Faye Dunaway. Famous quote:"I'm mad as hell and I'm not going to take it anymore!!" "Go to your windows open them and yell at the top of your Voice" Clearly Jack was having a Howard Beal 2 wk shoot. Thanks Jack for Losing It on behalf of all of us..
In the documentary you learn he has a friend that had absolutely nothing and probably would have been homeless if not for Jack. What i liked about the video is watching Jack go back and forth between being super pissed off and doing a good job as a commercial spokesman. Plus you have to admit he is really good at swearing, the documentary is on netflix for those that wanna see it.
I gotta say both these guys and their relationships are so intriguing. I just watched to documentary and never thought I'd be looking to learn more about them and what they're up to today. Great interview by q as well.
The intro is fine, I get what they were going for. The rest of the interview makes up for it. I love Jack, I wish the documentary went more into his politics
This (studio Q) has got to be one of the best radio shows in the world. Maybe somewhat rivaled by swedish P3 documentary. I'm very glad that you share this on the global cyber webs. You should hire Jack Redney ASAP, he has a great voice and a very interesting intellect. People laugh at the winnebago man tapes because they feel a sense of quintessence, this man puts into words what we all fell when we have a bad day at work.
Skip intro, what a waste of data. Also, from an audio perspective the wind screen mounted in front of the host's SM7B mic is completely unnecessary. Maybe its there for sanitary reasons.
That question about whether or not people are laughing "at" or "with" Jack was a good question, not one I really thought about, which is probably why I am saying so... and I think that a lot of people really relate to him, as I did and still do. I feel great joy whenever I share this and somebody likes it.
Jack, I am with you. As a veteran car sales person I have made a few live commercials......they are tough and awkward. Your outtakes make me laugh...enough said. The fact that these people are dwelling on it disturbes me. People are oblibious dolts in respect to American humanity today. As a mechanical engineer I just don't get it. I totally understand why you don't understand. That said; if it is generating income for you in you later years, I am OK with it.
I saw a short on insta, searched comments for the full length, then searched to see if anyone talked to the guy after. I’m going to watch this interview. Jack Rebney may possibly be the coolest white guy ever.
Only Ben and Jack are able to fully understand the bounds of a friendship odd begun and how to reach audiences in a sincere fashion. Gian is far too ignorant to understand what they are telling him.
Jack's speaking voice was money he had that old school sound. Listen to old clips of people talking from the 1920's and 30's modern language is going to crap. Imagine hearing Jack say "no cap" & all of the other goofy things kids say today. Rest however the F$#@ you want Jack you earned it Sir,I just hope he made alot of money from the documentary.
hi jack, my name is richie stahl from rapid city sd. i just watched your documentary i found on netflix. i fell in love with this film, saw your videos on you tube. im a very deep thinker i only believe in facts and reasoning to get through life. jack, what i came away with from the film and you tube videos was that "it validated me" i felt like that guy is me and you and everyone if you can admit it to yourself. in a nutshell jack made it ok for me to be me.
Ben,after watching the Doc.. OMG What a GREAT GUY,and I could tell It, from the start.. And Jacks, a Class Smartt Man!!!!!!!!!.... Thanks,,, Jack,,, Yea,,Thats My real Name,,, !!!
Hows your radio show doing? Tv show? Entertainment career? ................................ Jian is a god damn saint. I love his work. Hes such a relaxed, calming interviewer. Makes it very casual. Much like George Stomboulopolous
I want to know what the hell he was referring to when he would say "The fern and the dock." He said that constantly. "This microwave over will work great on your fern and your dock." What the hell?
The best part of the documentary, is learning this guy isn't a crazy conservative as you might assume. In fact, he hated the whole G.W. administration. 😂❤ What a great man.
Jesus. No one wanted to hear that intro.
Let's just assume I'm socially inept. "cool"? Im suppose to understand where you are coming from? No, you don't demand others see things your way, BUUUUT yes if we are to be of the same feather. Mark Stewart stfu you rambling imbecile
I"m sure it seemed like a good idea at the time.
Agreed. Tom Power's mimicry of the subject was delivered with the panache of a wet fart.
RIP Jack Rebney aka the Winnebago Man. A legend in our own time!
He's only angry in the outtakes because he's frustrated. We all get frustrated like that sometimes. The video is so funny because we would all love to be able to blow off steam like that!
Hats off to the gents who restored a man's honor. Jack I feel you.
Jack your voice REALLY needs to be hired. I just wish I owned some broadcasting organisation to hire you.
Here because Netflix running Winnebago Man. Great job Jack and Ben...loved the documentary, fantastic! Jack could read the phonebook and it would sound like the best thing ever. :-)
Can you do me a kindness?
Delete that damn intro.
+Ben Cockman Don't slam the fuckin door!!!
SERIOUSLY THIS ^^
NO MORE!
@@SNESdrunk I WANT YOU TO UNDERSTAND THIS, I DON'T WANT ANYMORE BULLS**T FOR THE REST OF THE DAY, FROM ANYONE, THAT INCLUDES ME!
Jack's voice would be excellent on Aqua Teen or Squidbillies. Or literally anything.
Skip the into.
Reading comments as soon as the vid starts was beneficial.
That intro was the most annoying thing
Probably because Rebney isn't amused by the gag.
What a painful intro
I just came here for the interview, not a goddamn skit/parody.
Anger/Angry don't seem the correct terms, he's frustrated but it seems pretty good-natured
that intro was the most unpredictable thing ive ever seen... so original
I wish Jack could still see. Reading for audio books or a character voice for pixar.
Long live Jack !
Wow, it’s so awesome seeing this man happy. He deserves it
Intro was very unnecessary
Actual discussion starts at 4:50
Jesus christ thank you
dont worry he's out of a job now touch touchy feely feely
If you haven't seen Winnebago Man, it is a must see. Very well done, very touching
Such a great, charismatic character. He reminds me of Ian McShane (Al Swearengen) in Deadwood.
The minute he said there was a billion flies I cracked up 😂

the poor guy lost his home and most of his possessions in a wildfire last year, now that he is blind he needs financial help to relocate.
Gosh I hope he’s doing okay
He passed on 5/10/23 at 93 years old
R.I.P. Jack Rebney
“The Angriest Man in the World" and one of the internet's first viral personalities
Intro wasnt funny
Jack is so fascinating, such a great orator. I'm captivated every time he speaks. It's like watching an artist who is well adept at their craft, effortlessly creating a beautiful art piece, full of depth and nuance.
He's got such a great voice.
bad and horribly cheesy intro, needs a lot more swearing to be like Winnebago Man
Amazing. I love listening to Jack!

Worlds most frustrating intro

“The Angriest Man in the World"
I gotta say both these guys and their relationships are so intriguing. I just watched to documentary and never thought I'd be looking to learn more about them and what they're up to today. Great interview by q as well.
I hope Jack is still with us and doing well. Loved the film, loved this interview.
I wanna listen to this, but I'm too distracted by this *FUCKIN' FLY IN MY ROOM!*
The film is about the creative struggle. The finished product/platonic ideal and the very human process involved in getting to it.
Wow I have so much respect for Jack Rebney its ridiculous.
His voice is so awesome.
love jack rebney
there is sometihng very cool about that guy... "the winnebago man"
you know what was funny about his outtakes? They wernt fucking scripted and thrown in just to appeal to copy the guest for easy appeal
The intro is fine, I get what they were going for. The rest of the interview makes up for it. I love Jack, I wish the documentary went more into his politics
RIP Rebney - the whole documentary is on YT for those who are curious, and it's incredible :)
respectively turns my day around. Thanks Jack!

“My first reaction was... I was pissed off”.
~The Angriest Man on 🌏
That’s the best part.
Skip intro, what a waste of data. Also, from an audio perspective the wind screen mounted in front of the host's SM7B mic is completely unnecessary. Maybe its there for sanitary reasons.
Ben Elizando I think it's a pop filter, not a windscreen... helps to reduce plosives.
" noore bullshit from anyone...... Including me". Love it.
R.i.p. Winnie sir.thank you for making me laugh everyday for a year.🪘💯🧶

He sounds like Stan lee
Walter White?
You have to love this man...
Wow I have so much respect for Jack Rebney after seeing this

Rocking a van gough.. what in the goddamned hell
Give Mr. Rebney his own podcast
Jack has a great voice, he could have been a spokes person for so many things
When I saw the headline for this video, I thought I was gonna have to learn that Winnebago Man is a Q-Anon follower. Thank God I was wrong.
Only Ben and Jack are able to fully understand the bounds of a friendship odd begun and how to reach audiences in a sincere fashion. Gian is far too ignorant to understand what they are telling him.
“Golly Wompers!” 😂😂😂
I couldnt help but chuckle when he said "a billion
flies" haha
And Jack seems like a pretty cool guy.
The first reaction to the outtakes is that’s me on my worst day ever 100%
Winnebago Man is my personal hero
No not at all we are all just like Jack we love him!
Jack's speaking voice was money he had that old school sound. Listen to old clips of people talking from the 1920's and 30's modern language is going to crap. No way! He is wearing a Whitefish Lake Lodge hat!

My mind's a piece of shit today.
Best interview editing ever! Great job Q!
Inculcations. Jack's vocabulary is impressive
THANK YOU SIR!!
10:05 hahha oh man I dig this guy.
This man's voice is gold, how old is he?
the Documentary "Winnebago Man"...was very good...
Jack needs to write an autobiography.
The guy straight up sounds like Gordon Pinsent...
Winnebago Man is currently playing on Netflix (as of April 2012). Check it out. Recommended.
Winnebago man is playing on Hulu (as of may 2022) it was great! Wish I had discovered it sooner.
Ben,after watching the Doc.. OMG What a GREAT GUY,and I could tell It, from the start.. And Jacks, a Class Smartt Man!!!!!!!!!.... Thanks,,, Jack,,, Yea,,Thats My real Name,,, !!!
i was hoping to learn more about the outtakes
What a guy!
He looks super-good for 81.
He seems like a great guy.
Is the actual video posted somewhere? That is, the end product, not the out takes?
An invasion of privacy, coming from a guy who did infomercials. Still, what a great man.
Hows your radio show doing? Tv show? Entertainment career?

Thank you. the word fern confused me, now I get it. Jack was hilarious.
it was dog, not dock, you twit.
Was it really?
Thanks for the vital update about a question from a year ago.
Very helpful, very timely.
The best part of the documentary, is learning this guy isn't a crazy conservative as you might assume. In fact, he hated the whole G.W. administration. 😂❤ What a great man.
The movie about him is very good, watch it!
I'm blinded by that...fuckin' hot light.
Love me some Jack
Why did Ben hire a private investigator to do a Google search?
Go to 1:57 to skip all the BULLSHIT
it's a joke..
...a long and bad one
I'd like to view the finished video with Jack promoting the RV as intended. Cannot find it on TH-cam.
I gotta read it again because my mind is just a piece...shit this morning!
2 week shoot?! I'd assumed this took place over a day or two at the most. No wonder he was so pissed off!
Jian needs more than one take for this interviews?! This is shopped!
The only guy who could have out performed Clint Eastwood In Grand Torino
Jian knows a thing or two about aggressive behaviour. He could make an excellent film with the winnebago man and several battered women.
He looks like John Cleese. I thought it was him.
