Imo we come here for the 1st class humor and because what you teach is not for move monkeys, but actually for the streets, where one can perform it. A simple and short Mahatma shuffle for me looks ten times less suspicious, than an Alex Pandrea DPS, where you hold the deck, while moving your hands awkwardly. You and JS magic have the style of performing, that actually reaches people.

Not showing that second card dulls the impact of the whole thing quite a bit I think.
Feel like it would be stronger showing a totally random card to person 2 than the ole necktie “take my word for it this is your card” move.
That’s just my non porcine, non pastry opinion though.
