Let me add my praises to the many others here. I wish all instructional videos were as good as this. The voice is clear and calm, and the instructional flow and visual aids are perfect. I already knew about "contiguous", but I needed the "fill". As one who has struggled for years with the inadequacies of the bucket tool, this fill method was a revelation. Thank you Rick.
I never understood contiguous, but now, it makes so much sense. This lesson on changing the color of multiple objects was right on time. I love your teaching and explaining how things work. It is never boring and this is what an excellent teacher does to hold the students attention. Thank you for another awesome tutorial.
Thanks Rick..... I could never figure out what that contiguous thingy was.... Help was "in a foreign" language. You made it understandable. Thanks for that!
Now I understand the ins and outs of the contiguous option and how it works. Another awesome video Rick.! Thank you for clearing up any confusion I had about the contiguous feature,. Also worth noting was the time you spent obtaining the true color yellow, for me it opened a door to making use of the numerical values to gain true color selections.
Glad that helped. I like that you took the lessons from within the tutorial. So maybe you will never need to change the color of polka dots but as you said you now understand contiguous and using numerical values in the Color Picker. Thanks!
Been watching all your photoshop elements videos. Just wanted to say thanks. Some little tricks and features I never knew about but learned through your examples. 👍
Great video as usual! One question. Why did the background change colors? Keep your videos coming as they are so good for us newbies in explaining things.
Hmm that's interesting. The background didn't change colors. It it looks like it did it's either a variation of the video or it's an optical illusion which is probably possible with different colored dots.
Yesterday my fonts color worked fine. Today, no matter what type of font I select the color remains "Grayed Out". How can I get back to changing the color of my fonts? Thanks.
Hi Does anybody know how to make a shape from dot patterns. E.g. A circle will fill only dots in the dot pattern will all other surrounding dots in the pattern unfilled Hope you will reply to my comment

let me add that this superbly explained technique works pretty exactly the same in PS Elements 2023 for Mac. Thanks!
