DAF: Advanced Emergency Braking System (AEBS)

The DAF Advanced Emergency Braking System (AEBS) intervenes to slow the truck down in case of an emergency.

This thing comes on if it sees a sign infront of you it also comes on when your turning corners if it feels like it
literally couldn't be a worse system

we use a truck rollover simulator - emergency brake simulator to raise driver awareness to the importance of seat belts and the forces involved in emergency stop - situations like cyclists and debris in the air cause this to happen unexpectedly and without belts can cause the driver to hit the windscreen / jack knife -roll the truck
