Just a couple of things. Elena went to medical school, not nursing school. She was a doctor like her father. Second, Elena spoke of she and Damon having a "long and happy life together," so we're not supposed to believe that they died young, I think it's more like you get back an idealized version of your body once you reach peace.
I feel like all of the people who were in Hell were able to find peace after Hell was destroyed because Vicki, Tyler and John( had to to have gone to Hell according to the rules) found peace. That means Katherine found peace and I'm not mad about it.
Damon and Elena grew old together and died of old age. The scene Elena talked about was that even after they lived their normal human lives: when they died, their souls found peace with their families. So no, they lived their lives until they got old and died. Watch the scene again. Elena and Damon, though not seen, are living their lives as according to the Legacies.
Definitely had a mental breakdown over this with you! Literally I have the same reaction every single time over this show ending... Just to correct you: they didn't die in their 30s, they had a happy and long life together and the version of peace we see is them being young & beautiful and finding peace with their loved ones. I can’t believe you’re done with this show! It was such a journey to watch. It’s definitely one of my favorite shows of all time. I can’t wait for you to start the Originals. Some people will say it’s better than the Vampire Diaries, but I don’t think so. I honestly like them both equally. They’re just different. TO definitely feels like it takes place in the same universe as TVD, and there are a few crossover episodes, so you’ll see some familiar faces again. It does have a little different feel to it though. There are a ton of amazing characters and relationships just like TVD, and TO gets very emotional as well. I don’t know if it’s just that I have a lot of nostalgia for TVD, but I always felt a little more connected to the characters in that show than in the Originals. Nothing will ever beat Damon and Stefan’s brotherly bond for me. TO is fantastic none the less though. Also, if the Vampire Diaries is a morally grey show most of the time, the Originals is even more extreme in that way, considering the Mikaelsons are basically villains to start with. It’s super interesting to watch.
I agree!!! I’m probably one of the only ppl that doesn’t think the originals is better😭 I love it tho but maybe it’s because I have such a soft spot for tvd and it’s more lighthearted and easy to watch imo I’ve only seen the originals twice but I’ve seen tvd like 50times💀
Saaame. I think it's just the fact that Tvd is very comforting to watch, even after being really dark. TO is just dark. Plot wise, TO is more brilliant than TVD because it had interesting politics too. But emotions wise, TVD is home ❤
The Originals feels more mature. TVD is more a teen show and it feels like the writers could've improved their writing in some of the seasons of TVD such as s5 but I think they spent more time focusing on the Originals at that time and is probably why TO did better than TVD .
TVD is where it all began and will always be my favorite and then TO, Legacies had potential but all the monsters and Malivore literally never mentioned by Klaus or Silas was kinda dumb!

A whole bunch of The Vampire Diaries/The Originals actors are in it…so you can see more of our favorites even though they are different characters. It’s also a CW show, which is probably why so many TVD actors are in it. There are three seasons, two of which are currently on Netflix and the third just started premiering the other day.
It was so fun, exciting, sad and emotional journey! I really know how it feels, sometimes when you really enjoy a show or movie you make a bond with it, and you wouldn't realise it until its over. I really enjoyed watching you experience what I experienced. I can't wait for future shows and reactions. I'll really miss you feeling related to Damon or bonnie or caroline or anyone on this show. The Originals is more of a mature feeling in a way. The vampire diaries really went into the Love triangle with Damon, Stefan, and Elena. Overall, the story was about the brothers. The originals is about the Mikaelsons. You know how they are, they fight a lot and they’re all Insane… but they’re family. You’ll see impulsiveness, betrayal, love, hatred. Grudges, a lot of heads and hearts, but overall…. You’ll see why we love this complicated family so much
I hope u react to "last day as a vampire" and also bloopers of all the seasons. It was amazing watching u react to my favourite show and also loved how u were impartial with the brothers some reactors tend to love only one brother but throughout ur reaction u didn't do that 🤗
While I do think there's some solid redemption potential with Tyler, I 100% agree with you about him trying to force himself onto Vicki and it never getting addressed. Unfortunately, this is _very_ consistent as Damon's relationship with human Caroline is essentially rape/forecefully coerced and it's barely touched on after Care-bear gets turned.
He's been saying ever since he started reacting to TVD maybe even just before that, that he would be watching the entire series of TO after TVD before he chose another show. It has not been a secret. He's mentioned it many times in videos. Btw I would love to see his reaction to Vikings also!!
