Most kid now day don't work like your kids do they stay in the house you teach them to not be lazy that shows you love them and they respect you they do what you ask them to that's how all families should be I like watching you keep it up
Thanks so much! We have a great life!
I really enjoyed the video ! I need a hay rake for the back field so i'm not wearing out riding mowers trying to bag it up . I threw the rod out of the bottom of my engine block of my mower a few weeks ago right after fixing it I never had that happen before lol . I'm blessed my dad gave me his yesterday after he bought a new one . I tell you what the clover sure has bloomed out and gone to seed since I haven't mowed for a few weeks . I noticed Saturday's comment didn't make it to you . Just want to tell you that God does change lives he is changing mine right now !! Thanks for sharing and have a great day !
That’s absolutely amazing! I’m extremely happy!
For a split second I thought you were going to eat that cicada raw. And the funny thing is, I would not have been one bit surprised if you would have 😵💫
😂😂😂😂
Good morning Bro. Micah. Man watching your channels is like watching a Time Machine in operation. It keeps going back and forth in and out of time. 😂😂😂. Two weeks ago I saw young corn in the fields in the background. Today no corn and back to a plowed field. Simply amazing 😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Up here on the S. Cumberland Plateau we only got a few cicadas this year. It's kind of odd cause just 6-12 miles away they're covered in them.
Yes that’s unusual!!

Never seen Joe Biden move so fast!
My daddy could make a haystack in the pasture for winter, it was stacked back and forth in a way that it stayed dry to the end. He cut hay and raked with horses and later a tractor and baler. He taught younger farmers how to make a good haystack.
That is an art that few know anymore! I wish I knew!
I do too! @@McGieHomesteadAdventures
Wow, those Cicadas are loud! Don't have them up here.
That's some good looking hay ypu folks put up. Probably have to start haying here in about 3 weeks. We got a big pile of rain yesterday and lastnight.
You folks have a good day.
You got that right! Have a wonderful day!
💙I love your video's they're very educational & helpful , thanks for sharing you & the guy's keep cool in this hot southern weather much love from Georgia🙏💜👍
Glad you like them! We enjoy sharing!!
That hay rake is mesmerising! Make hay whilst the sun shines. We have had rain here in England constantly. There's been dozens of chemtrails in the sky all year until today. The sun is out and you guessed it, not one chem trail in the sky.🤔🤬 Great to see your hard work and progress.👍🏻
I’m glad you enjoyed the video! We’re having some great hay weather here this year!
cattle and goats also love Smooth Broom grass as hay and yup orchard and timothy as well, awesome video by the way keep em comin'. We used to do loose hay back in Switzerland before movin to north america.
That’s awesome! Great memories!
I believe that was Joe unloaded that whole thing by hiself just about good job young man can you imagine what it was like before they had machinery I don't even like to think about it 😁
Yes indeed! A different time for sure!
square bales also tear up your cuticles and forearms. but you dont have as much hay dust down your shirt at the end of the day lol theys good and bad to just about everything.
You’re exactly right! Like for instance, being employed!😂😂😂
@@McGieHomesteadAdventures shhhhhhh lol
Hard graft, well done
If you mowed the clover for feed will it regrow and give you the same benefit for the corn
Not crimson, it’s one and done.
I’ve done both square and loose hay I think I can get more loose hay into a barn than square bales
I’m thinking that’s true!
Lookin good! OK I gotta ask what's happened to Frank?!
He’s staying at home these days helping his ex do things 😵
Ain't nothing that draws rain than newly mown hay on the ground. Learned that a long time ago.
You’re exactly right! And taking a roof off of a house!
I love the smell of fresh cut hay! Watching storms to the north of us in NW Illinois, it's making a beautiful light show. Have a great day and thanks for sharing.
Thanks, you’re right about that!
I love raking hay with them old side delivery rakes. It's so satisfying making them windrows.
It sure is!
Hay hay, wait another day wait till later to roll in the hay... 😅😂
Poet! It’s awesome that we had time to wait! Because sometimes it’s possible to wait too late! 😅😂
My daddy wont let me cut the clover 🍀 till it goes to seed. Good work Mr. Micah
It depends on what you’re trying to accomplish. But for me it’s full bloom!😎
Nicely done thanks for sharing keep the cameras rolling from Florida
Thanks, will do!
Some very good looking hay😊😊😊😊😊
Thanks!
Helped a man one time who had to cut, rake and bale hay in standing water in places. Rained so much that year he had no choice. Baled tight in round bales but left in the sun on the dry ground without bunching or stacking. Cows ate what they wanted and bedded on the rest.
Wow that was pretty wild!
@@McGieHomesteadAdventures it was the one and only time I ever did that and hope I never have to repeat it. Rough on equipment and hard to make the bales start rolling due to the water on the belly belt.
Good job boys thanks for the video
Our pleasure!
Thanks for carrying us along with you for this hay season good job guys
Our pleasure!
Them boys are farm strong.
Yes they are!💪
what bug is drowning out your video? June bugs?
The 13 year cicada and the 17 year cicada both hatched this year
@@McGieHomesteadAdventures I remember that. Was cool to hear it.
We put all our hay up loose. Your video last year turned on the light bulb for me. I do wish I I had a tedder to dry the hay faster. I would never spend the money on a square baler, just cause me more labor. The new small round balers are cool but pricey. Thanks for sharing
You can get old tedders pretty cheap sometimes. But if you got a rake you can go out and flip it after the top gets good and dry and it'll do just about the same thing.
I’m in the same boat….. the loose hay definitely fits the bill for me!
@@McGieHomesteadAdventures I like it, and I think it’s a better feed quality. Although I have zero data to prove that. If I were you I’d be planning on getting something to pick the hay up without a team of boys. Love your videos Micah, stay cool it’s been brutally hot here in PA
I hear ya! It’s inevitable…….. I’m thinking the number of livestock will be reduced!😂
@@McGieHomesteadAdventures no not that, the food supply is crap.
Great video
Thanks!
First
Boom! You killin it this morning!
I give Timothy Hay to my Rabbits and gunia pig they love it. Great vid looks very Hot 🥵🔥
Awesome! Thank you! Yes it is!
