Thank you for helping me fix my daughter's precious Charmander plushie that she got as her first gift from a friend. She was devastated that it got torn by the dog :'( I can't wait to show her that it's all fixed in the morning!! You're honestly a life saver!! 💖💞
I don’t know why, but this video was totally ASMR for me. I was just trying to sew a stuffed animal closed, but her voice, and the quiet shaking sounds in the back made me super relaxed. It’s a shame it’s only two minutes, I could listen for hours. In terms of it being a tutorial, it’s perfect. Super succinct, and not long, drawn out and complicated.
Me with my custom polo jacket lol (my signature jacket) It's those expensive windbreakers they sell. But I slapped on a bunch of patches. Finally got it back from my ex but the sleeves interior lining is tearing 😔 I sewn it once but that's when I had NO clue what I was doing. Boutta go for round 2 lol.
guess why I’m here!!! I’m making my own doll inspired by the “little me” from Coraline! I found this cool doll at goodwill that will work perfectly, but I have to resize a few limbs because they are a bit ridiculous in size *cough* the butt *cough* .I’m super excited to see how it turns out!!!
I have never been able to perfect this stitch no matter how many tutorials I looked up but this was perfect! I understand what I was doing wrong and hopefully now I can properly do a ladder stitch! Wonderful video ^.^
I also hav seen so many ladder stitching videos but was unable to stich because they were not teaching perfectly. But this video was just awesome .After looking this video was able to do this . Thsnks mam for teaching us soooo nicely
I wish they taught me this in sewing class-I was led to believe that when making pillows and whatnot, you’d inevitably have to see some of the thread where you sewed them closed after stuffing them haha. Thanks for this quick and easy tutorial!
Oddly enough I was taught you had to turn them inside out before stuffing to hide the stitching. Neeldess to say that would be quite challenging with some projecting
@@NoraIconiqthat's actually what I do! I see together simple hearts for my local fire department. What I do is just cut out 2 of my heart pattern, lay them down where the insides are together, clip it. Then do a normal backstitch all across. When I get to the ending edge I flip it around, stuff it, then do the latter stitch on the outside 😁
I have seen so many videos telling you to do this stitch but never actually teaching you to do this stitch! You just saved me so many jeans! Thank you!
Simple and easy to follow. For an amature who knows nothing about sewing I could managed to seal a hole in my trousers with reletive ease. Thanks again. 😊
Thank you for posting. I had never learned how to sew a hand ladder stitch until this video and I am 50 years old! I appreciate the slower and simple process.
Thank you so much for this short and useful tutorial. Now I have been able to fix not just plushies but also the open seams of my own tshirts and my father's too! ❤️
I’m trying to hand stitch my cat’s favorite toy and I have no idea what the heck I’m doing. This was short, to the point, and I was able to clearly see what you were doing. Also, thank you for not having ridiculously annoying background music. Thank you so much!
This was a big help coming from a guy who has never showed before. I used this to fix a hole the size of a small coin in a sports top. Added tip: once you have ladder stitched it closed, then go over it with an under over technique, so as if you are wrapping the ladder stitch in it's on thread . Made it really strong
Thank you so much! I was able to save my daughter’s day by fixing her stuffed animal before I left for work. Great short video with every detail I needed to be successful!
this actually was very helpful and im 13 and never sewed before and i was able to fix my frog stuffy that got a hole in it from cutting off the tag. thank youu
Thank you for such an amazing tutorial! My partner had bought me a t-shirt of an artist i really like for my birthday, but it came with a rip along the side stitching. I bought a beginner's sewing kit, sat down, watched your video, and now I'm all ready to wear the shirt! Liked & subscribed -- you rock!
I found this after clicking on a different video where she talked for ages then used a sewing machine. Nothing wrong with using a machine, I'm just more used to hand sewing so your video is perfect. Thank you so much!
Thankyouu, this really helped, I've never been good at anything requiring fabrics and my pillow needed to be sew up as it was ripped open at one end and so I followed this tutorial and understood what to do immediately
Thank you so much for this tutorial! I bought a big Pickless from Puff Pals but they sent him to me with a hole in the seam of his tail. I was anguishing for weeks on how to fix it. Your tutorial made it a snap, didn't take me five minutes! The ladder stitch works like magic, it's like there was never a hole! Thanks!!!
Thank you so much for this great video! I successfully sewed a tear on my pillow case. For practicing, I tried the traditional method on a old pillowcase , but not only was this easier, it looks better as well. Never thought I could sew anything until now :)
Fixed my 10 year old reading pillow that would cost me $30 to replace with the help of your video and a $4 sewing kit. Think I will need to get a bigger sized kit as the thread was small and I have some pairs of jeans I'd like to try next, but for now it's better than what we had. Thank you for the straight to the point tutorial!
Thank you! I just sewed the inner pocket of my North Face jacket since the thread got loose. Quick clear video for a quick fix for my favorite jacket. Thanks a million!
Wrap two loops of the end of the thread around your pointer finger and then roll/rub the loops. That will cause them to tangle, then pull taut with your nails to form a knot.
Thank for a quick and easy tutorial. All my couch pillows thread coming off so kids kept tossing all the stuffing around.! I'm 31 and can't sew for sh!t. Lol. Had to really look into sewing vs throwing 4 pillows out. With a cheap sewing kit from Walmart and your tutorial I was about to sew them all back.! You can't even tell it was ever opened. Thanks a bunch.!
Thank you so much...I learned to sew just by watching this video, I'm so proud of myself. First video that gave detailed instructions that were easy to follow.
Really needed this video for a project I'm working on right now. You're voice and your hands made the whole ordeal of having to try to learn a new skill SO MUCH EASIER!😂. I don't want to sound creepy either... Just really soothing voice!
Thank you for this! Quick to the point. One of my plushies was coming apart at the seam in a very noticeable part of the plush and now you can’t even tell! Thank you :)
Idk what happened, I watched multiple tutorials for this stitch and couldn’t do it properly, but watching this the seam is suddenly invinsible as it should be - thank you!
Omg thank you so much, this is the second video I went to for this because the first one talked forever and didnt actually show the process of doing it, it just explained it. Your a life saver
Wow, super, u r a great sewing teacher n upto the point. I saw 4 or 5 videos of the same stitch n couldnt learn. With u its very easy to learn. Thanks a lot n Namaste. ❤❤❤

Thank you! It's very to the point, and well explained In a short 2 minutes and 30 seconds! Will use this for repairing my plushies, or sewing them closed after adding more stuffing!

Very simple and informative. As a guy, I've got a pair of really cool re joggers with Japanese written on it, comic book scenes on the back. Haven't worn them in years, because there's a clean, L-shaped rip over the croth area, where there would one might find a zipper and button. My mom still hasn't taken them to a tailor, so I'll do it myself~♪

How do you make a starting knot as said in 0:34 ? No matter what tutorial I watch I can’t do that and I’m very frustrated
You can’t really make a knot right at the end. Make a knot near the end, then cut it so it becomes the end.
