Bro, you did an AMAZING job here. You really did your homework and it definitely shows. The series so far has been amazing but this episode is hands down the best episode yet. As I said before with the exception of Andrew Zimmern and Anthony Bourdain, no one has ever showcased trinbagonian food the way you're doing here. Come back and bring your father next time. Series is 🔥
@@Davidsbeenhere I agree with that comment it was also nice that you showed trini Chinese food too. Maybe next time you can try some trini creole food.
That Trini food looks so good and flavorful, even at 3am 👍 These folks are so friendly and hospitable, and this is one of your best food destinations, hands down!
It's almost 3:00 AM and I literally hadda make channa and spice it up with chado Beni, roasted geera and pepper just to satisfy my cravings for doubles. I'm not in trinidad so 😂 i suffer
Been watching you, David, Mark Wiens and Mikey Chen for a long time and hoping one day you would come to our shores for our local cuisine. I think after that video when you were sampling Trinidad and Guyanese food in Queens, a trip to Trinidad was inevitable. glad you came to try our food from the source and I'm sure you enjoyed it.
Yes I'm still waiting for ma boi mark Weins to make a trip to Trinidad.... Anyways I really enjoyed David's trini food series. He genuinely loved and appreciated Trini food be it chinese or indian. Didn't really see eat Creole dishes though.
The guide was EXCELLENT! David knows how to find the people to make sure he experiences the best food a country has to offer when he has a guide like this man!
Wow David sure loves our local foods our sweet and savoury snacks it's so awesome seeing him enjoying our local cuisine I'm so proud to be a trini right now also chef shiraz thanks for showcasing our local foods with David
Wow love how you are showcasing the foods of Trinbago. I have been watching a lot of others like Mark Weins and Mickey Chen but you are doing a great job with showing the food from the Islands .This brings back a lot of memories for me, when I would get up early with my grandfather to make doubles and channa to sell. Back in those days he used to ride with his bicycle in the village to sell his foods. Thankyou for sharing these local restaurants and dishes! I loves how you say paratha, and dal puri! Hey I know that chef Sharaz!
Its awesome to see our local cuisine being on the fore front...I remember like chef jason said when Andrew Zimmerman came years ago...fyi you got to love the spicy foods...its not trini if its not spicy...thanks for show the world our culture...
Can't believe u were literally couple minutes away from where I lived, twice for that matter as Wing Hua restaurant is also u the same area as the doubles kitchen, would've been really cool to meet u. Thanks for showcasing our islands and please come again

Dude the country is half Indian who got all that influence from India when they were brought to the island as indentured slaves.
