Yes! For 10 years, I travel the country with almost nothing, and I kept being given everything I truly needed. Warm clothes. Sleeping bag. Shelter food, a drum, a blanket, and on and on. At the end of this time I was invited to settle down and have a family. And I have been humbled to except a house, a beautiful home with a great yard. When I traveled, I always committed to leaving every place better than it was when I arrived, and giving more than I took. I almost always succeeded. My uncle instilled the ultimate importance of nature and life in my emotional understanding and open awareness during my childhood. He showed me a spot on the river where I was able to observe 3 separate beaver dams. He told me to go to the farthest and study each and look for a place to catch fish where I wouldn't take away from or bother their community. He cautioned to be very careful as some of the area had hidden traps. I have been busy ever since.

This video both empowers me and confuses me. There's a point in the video where the word "win" is emphasized. So, being the word nerd that I am, I decided to look up the etymological meaning of it. Here's what I found: ""be victorious," c. 1300 fusion of Old English winnan "to labor, toil, struggle for, work at, strive, fight," and gewinnan "to gain or succeed by struggling, conquer, obtain," both from Proto-Germanic *wennanan "to seek to gain"." So yeah, while I want to change the world, so many of the spiritual teachings that I have come across over the course of my life has said that we as humans need to stop doing so much, and instead start being more. The teachings have said that we need to have fewer desires, if not none at all. The teaching say that we should not be competitive, but, instead, be collaborative. And the most confusing aspect of it all: the insinuation that we should fight for this new world. So while that gets the Hollywood action hero blood within me pumping, it also makes me look in the mirror and ask the question: am I a fighter or am I a lover? My intuition tells me I'm both. But everything that I've learned from spiritual teachers has told me that wise ones don't involve themselves in conflict. Instead, they simply be...the light, which is an effortless act, an act where you win as a result of how you both did and were no-thing, thereby making you one with everything. So what is Thoth suggesting we do? Do we confront the oppositional forces head on, or do we sit back and watch them inevitably kill themselves by their own hands? And then, once everything's been burned to ashes, do us peacemakers swoop in and begin to rebuild? What's the plan here?
