I used your video to replace the damaged front bumper on my 2011 Outback. Your video was so helpful and saved me so much by doing it myself. Thank you!
A very nice video! You eased the fear I have of removing the bumper, which is required because of the notorious low beam light bulb replacement issue with this generation Outback. Thanks for uploading this video!
My bumper isn’t going on all the way. Previous owner messed up the clips. This helps most of the issue tho! Thanks! Also I’m definitely getting black headlights after watching this.
Thanks for the video! My daughter tore the bumper cover off our subaru and I am diy repairing it but can't see what it looked like "before"....now I can!
Love the Outback! Very interesting to see the difference of the removal process on your generation Outback compared to mine (2005). I subbed. Great stuff!
Hey Matt... Thx, well done! I have a 2011 OB 2.5 and need to replace those headlight assemblies. Will probably replace the fog light assemblies as well because everything has been worn after 128K+ Miles. Also like that grill...!!! Mine has been chipped away as well and will try to replicate what you have done here.
you just saved me whole lots of time! with the suggestion of body clips at the very beginning. seriously. hours. maybe?.... it's kinda difficult and weird for me to say - of my life, at least 3 or 4 Hours. at least 3 or 4.. SHA-EEEEEEEEESH!!!. thank you!
Also watch the rest of this video! i totally understand my front bumper now. Holy Moly People!!! ----im just so grateful for this amazing tool -- where any question is answerable...
I also get the Dr. Roc clips. I wish they'd have more in the box as these go super quick when doing just about anything with my Subaru, but they fit perfectly! Still expensive, but way cheaper than OEM clips.
How do you get the pins for the under plate back in? I popped mine out with a gardening tool to push the bumper back out where someone’s towball hit it, but can’t seem to get them back in.
Hey, good question. I believe that the body style changed around that time so I would look up ORM specs. I would also not recommend these headlights after now having them for a couple years. The clear coat came off pretty quickly and they started yellowing. Badly. I put some smoke tint lamin-x on them and they look cool, but I’d look elsewhere if I could do it all over again. Good luck!
TY, I am about to remove my damaged front bumper cover. well done on this video, good details.

Very helpful, my son just smashed the front bumper on a hand-me-down 2015 Outback! 🤬🤬
Been waiting so long for a positive assembly video for a bumper replace and removal! 💯✌️✌️✌️

That was the best fucking video on how to take off and replace a bumper on a Subaru. Great job and thank you!👍
Thanks for this video. Saved me a lot of trouble in replacing my headlights.
Thanks from Canada man!

Thanks for this. It'll help me a ton in getting better horns on mine.

Thanks saved me a lot, but one question,, how do you reinstall the fasteners? Do they just get banged in with a rubber mallet?
Wondering the same thing…how did you go with it?
This was a excellent video 📹, I also saved it, gave you a thumbs-up & subbed 👍
Great vid pal. .thanks so much. very informative. cheers

Thanx for a video. Is removing a bumper cover enough to be able to reach space between condenser and radiator to clean it from debris?
Thank you 🙏🏼
I like the amber lights you installed. What brand are they? Can you provide a link?
Do you have a link to those headlight assemblies? And the yellow fog lights?
The headlight upgrade was it worth it mine are in excellent condition but like the black housing.
Do u know if the 2011 Subaru Legacy bumper fits on the outback at all?
Do you know if the 2016 w outdoor be the same. Thx
Is there a way to replace that front bumper cover with a 2013 model that has the big fog lights? That would look rad! Thanks :)
Gosh I would not know. But that would be sweet! I love that look. Let me know what you find!
Hi, is it limited outback? Asking if these headlights with black bezels fit 2014 outback premium trim?

What year outback are you working on?
Sorry this reply is very late but I have a 2011.
Ok
Thats a bumper cover not a bumper
Thank you for pointing that out Dannielle! I have made the edit.
