I was wondering if those Chartreuse beads work,?? It put a smile on my Face as I have a mess of those tied up . the beads Glo with the UV light up at depth. Thanks for sharing , Togens has the beads.
It’s well known that hot spots can attract fish and the chartreuse color bead seems to work very well on various patterns. Darker beads also work good, so try various color beads.
Great episode, as usual. Thnx all.
Absolute amazing show! Glad I found SFOTF! Thanks Don, Dale, and Crew!
Great video. Thanks for the next tie in my box. You guys are awesome.
Thanks for explaining the experience 👍
Thanks for sharing the pattern and your modifications of it with us, Don. Best regards from the States, Chuck.

One of my favorite bead colors for leeches 🤩👌
Just wondering why the bright, yellowy-green colour for the bead, rather than a more lifelike colour like...say... mottled blackish red.

I thought the Bulldog thought indicators were for wee wees ?
lol…he prefers to strip flies but will fish all techniques when required to catch fish 🤩👌
If you’re float fishing, why not use a Centerpin reel? The line management on that fly reel set up looks painful!
Actually, we are using very small strike indicators, not like the much larger float we would use with a Center Pin when steelheading.
You’re putting the slotted bead on backwards, the slot goes to the rear of the hook.
Thx and both ways work good 👍
How is the midnight leech different? Cheers
I use Midnight dubbing for the thorax and add some to the tail for extra flash. Will be tying one on an upcoming show
North end of the lake?
