    I'm having a second Dasher built. Got a really good deal on another lone peak fuzion action and picked up a cert off a prize table covering labor to chamber another barrel from the person that built my current Dasher. To me it just makes sense to build another Dasher.

    Piet. I have an old Remington 511 Scoremaster. Do you know of any accesories available for the old lad?

    You can only buy these rifles there with your driver's license or ID card. I wonder what their prices are?

    Hey Piet
    Just a little question from the Netherlands.
    That CZ457 .22LR in that MDT LSS Chassis.
    Is that the MTR version with the 20 inch barrel?
    And with the Area 419 picatinny rail and bolt knob?
    I'd love to hear from you.
    Greetings Lari

    Seems like recently the bergara is on par with the tikka. Was in Cabela’s before Christmas and I tried both the tikka t3x and bergara b14 and the bergara action honestly felt a little better. There’s going to be so many tikka fanboys commenting haha but it really did and I’m not biased to either, I was looking because I want to make a custom. Seemed to have tighter tolerances and just all around smoother and they were about the same price. Can’t go wrong with either though

    What action to you recommend for 6mm PRS platforms? Also, I know this is super beginner question but can you caliber on a rifle with the same action just by swapping the barrel?
    I know with AR 15 that’s the case and sometimes you have to swap the bolt.

      @Mahziar69 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes you can do that as long as your barrels are headspaced and threaded for the same action

      Action is going to depend on your budget. I am just getting into the PRS game as well, I went for a 6 Creedmoor build. I settled on the heart of my rifle being an Impact 737R action with their Bartlein barrel. Arrived all put together and I just dropped into my chassis. I have a video here on my build. It actually got removed by TH-cam after a few weeks of posting, but it is back up now. I realized they thought I was "building" the rifle, but I explained I was just assembling components and I did not manufacture anything myself.
      I have been posting videos of my local matches and what I'm doing wrong and need to work on each month. My hope is that I will show other new people what I'm learning and hopefully they can avoid some of my mistakes, lol. If you get a chance, I'd appreciate if you take a look at a few of my videos. At least my build video should give you some good ideas for what to build. But like I said, main thing is going to be the budget. You can go more expensive than I did or considerably less!! I wanted something that would be beyond my capabilities that I will be able to grow into as I get further into this. I know the rifle can shoot, so misses are all on me and show me what I need to work on improving between matches.
      And yes, as long as the cartridge uses the same size of bolt face, you can change calibers with a barrel swap. You can't change from a short action to a long action caliber that way, but in my case with a 6CM, I could change to 6.5CM, 6GT, 6BR, etc. Anything that uses the same size bolt if I'm understanding it all correctly. And uses the same size mag!
      Sorry for long comment, lol. Hope you have a great week!

    You should make a veido on 6arc. Just curious on your opinion

      Case to small for my use, but 22 ARC might work

      Best long range for AR platform for not bolt action. You need more case volume to push the speeds.

    I understand having a training rifle chambered in a smaller/less- expensive-to-shoot caliber, but why have a separate training rifle in the same chambering as your match rifle? Why not train with your match rig?

    On cost alone? Yes, 22lr is the cheapest training round.

    I don't need a so called "trainer rifle" What I do need is a highly accurate rifle ( as accurate as I can afford) that is chambered for a VERY ECONOMICAL cartridge. I can shoot my custom 223 for literally half the cost per shot as my custom 308. This makes my power last much longer. I still shoot my 308 just not as much any more with the cost and availability of powders now.

      Jup, lots of guys like to train with .308's for more recoil and practicing fundamentals, lots of merit thete

    • @beres70
      @beres70 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      That isn't make sense. If you have a Dasher or 6.5x47, the only thing you need to do for bigger recoil to screw down the muzzle break... Going with an .308 is simple waisting sources, powder etc.

    9 hole reviews started well but has fallen into junk , josh is looking at hard meds , his eyes wander and he babbles like biden ..old henry can shoot but intro and the talk parts are ego driven .. shame yours has stayed pure .do not change the format ..just the facts sir just the facts
