I'm not a big fan of TH-cam's "Premieres" functionality. The video ends up getting buried under other videos and then when it actually uploads, I don't see it anymore.
Yeah idk how I feel about it either, plus many premiers have long wait times for the video to sctually start as if it's a live stream. Sometimes with shooting and hunting channels I end up not getting the notification even if I put the notification on manually..
Net wanneer jy reg is dan laat weet jy my. Ek woon in Alberta, Kanada en jy is welkom om saam ons te kom jag. Ons het toegang na plase wat kilometers lank is waar ons kan jag en lang afstand skiet. Geniet jou opnames!
Great vid Piet! The guy rebuilding your engine stole it?! To me, that means he should get a butt kicking. (But I'm a bigtime motorhead sooooo I take stuff like that very personal.) I hope there was/is legal recourse for you to take in regards to the engine. A great little case trimmer, if people have time, is the Forster with a 3 in 1 head. Yes, it's a hand trimmer. Yes, a drill adapter is offered for it. I've wanted to buy a Henderson but just haven't gotten around to it just because I don't do the amount of ammo others do. Great work Piet, keep it up!
good stuff as always pieter ive have but a few of your scope bases and muzzle breaks about to buy more for my custom 270win as well as your carbon x stock that thing looks sick
Hi Piet. I have two questions. One you had said that you might be getting a bagara rifle. I was wondering if you might do a video on what you think of the stock. 2 as a competitor, what kind of diet do you keep? How much caffeine do you intake per day and what kind of foods do you eat and what kind of supplements, if any do you take?
Where did you get the money to buy it all? How much have you inherited... had given to you from the older generations? This guy lives in SA, $17,000 is a lot of money there.
What scopes do you recommend for 200 to 400 yards plus shooting 22LR for For seeing bullet holes on paper. I have a Leica Amplus 6 2.5-15 x56 on my 7mm rem mag. It’s an awesome hunting scope. But looking for in 24 to 30 power Great videos 👍
I want to get into target shooting, somewhat long range (100-600 yards) here in the USA but i have ZERO knowledge of scopes. Can you recommend a good beginner scope for someone who is disabled as I am and on a very limited budget? (like 200 USD)
Those late 80s land cruisers have some great transmission updates that will keep them running for a long time. Sourcing parts in the US is quite tedious though since most places that stock/fabricate for them are in California.
Love your vids! Could you possibly make a video as a guide on how to build a custom rifle? As in where to find and what kind of actions, barrels and chassis there are and how to pick them. Keep up the good work
My daughter and son-in-law recently returned from a trip to Africa (he grew up there), visiting ZA-ZW-UG. She raved about the kudu carpaccio in particular at one dinner. I haven't yet heard about other wins on the trip...
Awesome Piet, Love what you are doing for the Community, your wife is definitely going to be rather optimistic around the cost of your most expensive rifle If I had to take a guess... hahaha!
Love the videos and can’t wait for all the new builds to start! Is their anywhere in the states that carry your raptor muzzle brake? Would love to have one on my .308
Thank you so much all the way from vegas! I know your shot show experience was wacky, but I promise that us long range guys out here are not like what you experienced on the blvd.😂 thank you much for all the time you invest to help us fix mistakes we missed and help us reach our goals in this sport easier!
I wish I had gotten a notification for this video. I would have definitely taken advantage of the 50% sale. The video was uploaded with 2 days left in November 😕
Been watching you now for the better part of 6 years or more, and you have been a big part in helping me figure out everything from rifle caliber choices, accessory choices, shooting knowledge ect. Thank you. Keep up the fantastic work 👏 💪 👍
Same here! Although I ended up with a .308 because I primarily hunt and factory ammo is everywhere - but the rest is all entirely influenced by Piet! I watch almost every video and next year I want to do all the courses. Can't wait 🔥
@marcmoore4115 I went with 6.5 Creedmoor for the range and accuracy. Piet had used a 6.5 for for awhile, and that's primarily where I gained most of my knowledge of that specific caliber. I'm upgrading here soon, either to 6.5 PRC or 7 PRC. Trying to get some hands on experience with one of the 2 first before I pull the "trigger" lol.

ordered my bella hoodie.. keep up the good work
skiers use an N+1 rule for correct number of skis. For firearms I think the correct rule is 2N+1, I keep a small safe on purpose.
I'm not a big fan of TH-cam's "Premieres" functionality. The video ends up getting buried under other videos and then when it actually uploads, I don't see it anymore.
On my end.. It is back on the top of the list when it uploads.
Yeah idk how I feel about it either, plus many premiers have long wait times for the video to sctually start as if it's a live stream. Sometimes with shooting and hunting channels I end up not getting the notification even if I put the notification on manually..
Olympic Shooter Lenny Bassom quote, "Practice does not make perfect. Perfect practice makes perfect."
Or as I like to say, Practice makes permanent
I hunt with 7mm rem mag deluxe beautiful rifle..
For number of bench builds I chose two so one can cool under a barrel fan while using the other .
Thanks for all you do to give us information May you and your family have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. God bless you.
Planning to grab a 7 PRC myself. Good stuff Piet!
Thank you your time and energy in producing videos. I love all of your competition match ones. Please keep on doing what you do.
Love the shirt❤ . Beginning of 2023 you mentioned make pistol vidoes. Will there be some for 2024? Will there be a long range gas gun for 2024?
This intro definitely brings back memories 😂😂. Been watching u since day 1 and still love ur vids
Glad someone enjoyed the throwback intro as much as I did! Love dropping them in from time to time 🥰
@@IMPACTSHOOTING oh I absolutely loved the intro too! Immediately brought back memories for me as well.

I was going hunting with my brother in law and the sporting good store recommended a 300win mag to me I just found it odd you said the same thing
Favorite bullet for big game and preferred shot placement?
About time 7PRC comes to SA.
Where did you get the money to buy it all? How much have you inherited... had given to you from the older generations?
This guy lives in SA, $17,000 is a lot of money there.
Kudu? Never...... Sprinbok is by verre die beste wildsvleis....!

Quality costs money, no surprise here.

I have a question for you: when are you coming down under for a buffalo hunt?

Hi Piet. Will you do a review on the MDT Oryx bipod?
You bet!
@@IMPACTSHOOTINGI picked one up from their Black Friday sale. Looks like a good budget alternative

I bought a Savage elite precision in 338 Lapua Magnum and was wondering if you think the MDT rubber recoil dampeners are worth a try.
