I used to have the VHS of “Betty Boop” a long time ago which was a New Age Video release before it was being picked up by Alpha Video Distributors in the 1990’s, and it was part of the “Castle Cartoons” series. What’s kinda strange that the closing also had a surprise that it has the other half of “Greedy Humpty Dumpy” and “Kids In The Shoe” both by Flesicher Studios, and the first half of a ComiColor cartoon “Mary’s Little Lamb” and it was a Castle Films reissue where the tape runs out.
My theory: their duplication setup was cobbled together out of weird parts, and at that, I'm thinking a lot of these weird artifacts happen because there's no automation that stops the source tape before it runs off the end, so you're just capturing pure essence of analog chaos

I actually got a tape on eBay that has the Red Screen at the end! It has Goofy Gophers and Crusader Rabbit on it. The tape is on my channel although without the Goofy Gophers due to Content ID matching. I used to have a Bugs Bunny tape back in 2015 that also had this at the end, along with other cartoon tapes from this company but I dunno if they had this or not.

My Old McDonalds Farm tape has the upward static roll, while my other three; Daffy Duck Volume 1, Bugs Bunny Volume 1 and Woody Woodpecker all cut to static. After the static they all cut to the red screen of death, with a weird transition before it.
That being Mighty Mouse, except yours has no downward static roll; it normally cuts to the red screen of death after the static; with a STRANGE transition.

The Porky Pig tape has the normal RSOD with the weird transition after the regular static.
2:07 and 3:03 - Another one before the RSOD!
It had a BLACK SCREEN before that weird transition during the RSOD!
5:35 - I’ve just recently re-checked my copies of The Christmas Visit and Gift Wrapped, and the Gift Wrapped one does the same entrance on the RSOD!
