- Today I take you through the process of printing and framing two of my street photographs for an upcoming art gallery I will be featured in.Both of these images were shot on film with the Leica M2, if you would like to see the photos in person please come out to the gallery show on May 24th! Would love for you to go more in details about the printing at home process like cost vs outsourcing, cost of ink, adjusting your image with icc profiles, etc.

Amazing, i print b&w in the darkroom but if i ever needed color i would definitely print digitally. Also unrelated how did you get a Balisong longer than 3in in California?
do you calibrate your monitor? i've had some issues with printing before where my colours dont match
coo it dev. Helps to have a calibrated monitor, also the paper is really important, like if it has a yellowish tint ora clean white, also the texture changes colors :) little tip i always make test strip only a small segment where a lot of colors collide to see how they look printed :)

Nice prints! Any advise on an affordable printer?
Great images/prints! Regarding your matting problem....full frame / 35mm film has an aspect ratio of 2:3.
That means you need a matt opening of 8x12 to use your print without cropping.
So print size is 11x14 and actual image size is 8x12.
Or if you can crop a specific image to the 4:5 aspect ratio, then it would fit into the 8x10 matt opening.
Print size would be 11x14 and actual image size 8x10.

Just a quick question, I’ve got myself my first film camera, a minolta xg9. Do all minoltas have the same lens fitting? Or do you know what lens fitting the xg9 has?
Explore Photographic yes all of the manual focus ones do, only the AF SLR’s have a different mount

I love both of those images! I'd love to come see them hang in the gallery, but I don't think I can justify driving over 1,700 miles to visit a gallery. Sorry. Someday I'll make it out there though.

Andy Kitts honestly, no. I actually still prefer the Bessa for its ergonomics and aperture priority but the rangefinder in mine is currently misaligned. Once it’s fixed, I’ll start using it more!
