- Watch 20 year old Australian Nectar Triantis make his full League debut for Sunderland AFC against Birmingham City.
Up to this point Triantis has had four outings for the U21s since joining from Central Coast Mariners in the Australian A League in the summer and played only once for the first team in the early season defeat to Crewe in the EFL cup.
Today though with our first choice centre halves suspended he found out he was playing just 40 minutes before kick off when Dennis Cirkin pulled up in the warm up. Triantis though, has made a habit of seizing his opportunities, so let's see how he did.
Thanks again for all your brilliant hard work Alt. Thought Triantis (and Seelt) grew into the game and he made a great contribution being quick off the mark to attack the ball for the second goal. I think he played mainly as right CB in Oz, so did well for his first start on the other side. Both of our new CBs put in promising debuts, and it'll stand them in good stead for the future.
Yes, I thought they complimented each other well. They have different assets. A promising start against an aggressive press.

Yes, only 20 first game against an aggressive pressing team. Pretty good. Some things to improve on, but lots of potential. Glimpses of his killer long pass ability as well.
I've got the Seelt full debut vid coming out tonight. You can give that a watch tomorrow and decide which is the better prospect.

Seems to have fitted in well to our style of play. Possibly at fault for their goal but there were quite a few mistakes from our young players. This team is only going to get better.

First to headers, one touch passing, recoveries, duels. Goals
He kept his passing simple but some nice ones up the line and I think he only misplaced two all game. A solid first start for the lad.
mate, where do you find full match replays? And what software do you use to edit, such as the arrow you drew to show Triantis? Would mean alot to me if you could respond, thank you. Great video!
Match replays are usually posted by the club on thier website 48 hours or so after the event, but also if you subscribe to a provider then they often replay games on demand too.
I use Adobe Premier Pro to edit. I then use a bunch of improved graphic settings for things like the call out arrows, that you can learn to manipulate. Some plug in easy, some need more adaption and knowledge.
Beyond that a lot of my graphics I make/edit in Adobe After Effects and render separately then I can use them as a video overlay on the footage. Things like the unfolding stats image, the team selection graphic and typed letters, the shattered glass image, etc. I them match this with audio sounds as I chose and I do my audio recording in Adobe Audition. Although this is my weakest skill I think.
All of what I do I learnt on TH-cam over the course of about 18 month. If you look at some of my early vids, you can see the change and improvement.
