One interesting detail is that Raiden has his upgraded body already in this clip, when in the actual game he doesn't get it until after the Ray fight.
+ After sam fight
In an early trailer he also had his upgraded body while fighting Sam on the train. So this leaves us with several possibilities:
1. He was just meant to get his new body VERY early into the game, or maybe even just start the game with it and they would explain it in a codec call or something.
2. He was meant to face off against MG Ray and Sam later into the game. Or perhaps said footage of them on the train was actually evidence that the rematch between Sam and Raiden would've taken place on the train like the first fight and not in the badlands.
3. It was just done for marketing. This seems the most likely to me as I don't think the game would've gone through that major of a redo story and level-wise, but I could of course be wrong.
@@CricetoFunni Fun Fact: When this game was first conceptualized as Metal Gear Solid: Rising by KojiPro, it was going to be set between MGS2 and MGS4, showing how Raiden saved Sunny. It was under the behest of Platinum that the timeline was set after MGS4, for more creative freedom.
And in the original MGS:R trailer, Raiden was shown in his new Custom body.
This seems to imply that Raiden was supposed to have the "enhanced" body first, then going to the look we see him in MGS4.
Which... feels weird after playing MGR:R, because the custom body looks like an upgrade in every way.
@@aceblaz5502 Actually I remember reading somewhere this is because like the armor broke off Raiden's body, Kojumbo planed for Raiden to use his custom body so much in MGS:R that chunks of it broke and Raiden was left with his MGS4 body, why he just didn't repair his body inbetween the games? idk,

I like how the lifting and throwing scene is smoother and more seamless here.
Yeah, and i like how Raiden moving more slow when he threw MG Ray. It just makes Ray actually have weight and Raiden kinda struggle it

We need someone to archive or recreate these beta models I’d love to see animations or mods with the beta ones so we could see a alternate universe of mgr and experience what it would’ve been if nothing changed.

Recreating these models would be next to impossible, even if we had the models we sadly can't mod them into the game. Modding for this game is limited, we are not capable of importing custom models.

Love how the sky is blue here, opposed to the final game's cloudy, yellow-ish sky. Things look much more lively here. Although the final's prologue makes it more reminiscent of MGS4.

though to be fair, that doesn't seem to be what's used in the retail version; they just made the time closer to dusk, seeing as it's sunshine after the fight with sam
It's actually pretty cool they just used the old body for raiden and upgraded it just a little but still being able to absolutely decimate a metal gear,
Signifying that raiden's new body is atleast 2x stronger

even better: an MGS prequel where you play as The Boss during WW2. And also sell the rights to kojima, i wouldn't want any metal gear without him

I fully expected a mash up of Rules of Nature and What I've Done
Keep in mind most of this trailer and trailers like this one back in the day were prerenders of "What I hope the game looks like at the end of development." Then they would compromise the graphics to fit on the 360 or ps3.

O trailer de 2010 da E3 tinha um 4K que acho que iria superar os outros jogos que tinha já lançado na epoca mas era pra rodar mesmo não igual ao sonic ubleashed que travava pra cacete de tão nice graphics que era mas diminuiram os graficos do rising e cortaram muita coisa até parece que ciborgue não existia naquele jogo mas ainda é um jogo bão

You know I find it odd that metal gear ray's orginal design in MGR in drastically diferent from it's design in MGS4 I mean they already had a design no need to make different one all you need to do is give s new color scheme to fit MGR's brighter atmosphere and not MGS4's bleaker atmosphere though either way I bet I would be happy with both of them

The game would've been incredibly ugly if they kept everything looking like this. The overall artstyle in the final product was a MAJOR improvement and felt much more like a continuation of Metal Gear Solid 4

It's a pre rendered cutscene. Unlike the actual game, this trailer doesn't have to load any assets or follow scripts
