Hi Tom, thanks for the video, I did assembly my Karu 16 about 3 weeks ago, and I followed exactly the same steps. Your video is perfect to show what to do and the pitfalls to avoid. Well done mate ! 👍

Wanted to thank you for how you setup and did your videos . Watched most of them before we bought the koda 16 and also got the large table . We ended up with the option to do all 3 charcoal, wood and gas . Very glad we went that route. First try went exceptionally well . Would like to give a little plug for Trw pizza as he is amazing regarding making dough so you will be successful in that area as well . Ya’ll should team up and try some videos together.

It seems very intimidating to put together, your video has helped. Mine is still sitting in the box it arrived in to the house in November. Hope to put it together when warmer weather arrives.

Thanks for the comment! It’s not too hard to do, you can always take bits off if you fit them wrong, just don’t force any fixings and you’ll be fine.

Assembly was simple, the only thing I disliked about it was Ooni includes 2 extra screws and makes no mention in the manual of why. Since it's so few steps I wasn't worried I did anything wrong or missed something. But it did trigger my OCD slightly lol.

Hi Tom, thanks for the video! Do you have an idea of how much the oven weighs unboxed and assembled?

    • @TomVoyageuk

    Hi. Thanks im a subscriber.
I bought a new ooni karu 16 directly from ooni.
I used a 20% off coupon matched from sur la table.
It looks new inside never fired up but the metal part on the door and oven looks like it has small abrasions on it here n there, nothing major. i also found 1 little drop of rusty looking residue in the back area under the wood feeding opening metal, nothing major but why would a NEW oven have small abrasions and a small rust spot ?
Still looks new but the small abrasions are making me think "did they send me a refurbished oven or a returned oven or something because i used a 20% off coupon so they felt they can pull a fast one on me ?"
    Thanks.
    Anybody knowledgeable please reply soon.

Like nothing major , but did it have any at all ?
