The ability to buy and create your own peices, fills you with determination.

My nails / hands could double in some horror movie. They're doing a little better lately, but man these ones are rough!

I was watching another craftsman and when casing the leather he used a little saddle soap, have you ever used that technique? He makes holsters with are pretty heavily worked, I assumed it was used to hold the moisture in the leather a little longer or it acted as a bit of a lubricant to help with the tooling, you can never go wrong with a little lube, anyway another outstanding show camerawork sound and editing extremely well done and thank you for sharing, all the best from Scotland.

I have always loved your work. Can you use a hot iron burner with leather like this?

You can, it smells awful and I have only played with it briefly once. Much more knowledgeable people than me out there on it.

Sorry, what are the tools you are using? I would love a you to display them and talk about them, not in use but lying flat or holding them up, turning them to display them.
