Excellent work! Dont forget the VIN plate is attached to the dash. I forgot when I converted my 86 MJ red interior to gray from a 94 XJ donor when I did a 4.0 swap.
Thanks! And You’re Welcome! 👍🏻 I really tried to make it all look as nice as possible. It’s a lot of work to do this conversion. But it’s going to all be worth it in the end!
Looking good! If you pan on putting AC in the Comanche i would consider putting a new blower motor in. It’s a pain to do with the engine in and all of the ac plumbing in the way..
Thanks, I’m actually not going to have A/C in the Comanche. It’s going to be a dedicated Rock Crawler with half doors when I’m done. I did notice that those A/C components are in the way, even on my ‘96 XJ. I have never actually replaced a bad blower motor on a XJ before. Thanks for the tip.
I'm not great at resto but Im finishing up a custom MJ. Hey would you be interested in a build challenge for smaller channels? There may be something in the works, I'm just trying to see how many people have interest in this.
I’ve been following along with your build. Your Comanche is turning out awesome. I would be definitely interested in a build challenge for us smaller channels. Shoot me a email and we can exchange phone numbers and talk about this idea you have. wrenchestoadventures@gmail.com

Thanks you! Yeah that would be bad to forgot to put the vin tag on the new dash. Thanks for the reminder.
@@wrenchestoadventures I decided to replace it when I replace the cracked windshield instead of pulling the dash back out.
Nice quality work! I've considered doing this conversion and this sure helps in knowing how much is involved. Thanks for the detailed video.
