I just recently found another crafter highlight this fun fold card and I am using it to make my Christmas cards this year. And like you, I am using up all my old Christmas papers to decorate them. They go together rather easily but look fantastic. I like your book page background. I use those as well from old books I find at the thrift store. Old music sheets are fun to use as well.
Although you say this is a simple card, and it did put together easily in your hands, it is a beauty, I appreciate your dedication to using your scraps. They can make beautiful cards, too. 🇨🇦🥰
I have used this fold on a card before. On the inside I made it all one background including the half flap. I also carried that background onto the right hand inside of the small card. I decorated with floral transparent stickers & it was lovely. I regret not having kept pictures. 🥹

Love this card technique and fold! I literally spit my water on my keyboard when you showed me your "scrap pile" I have two big bins like laundry baskets of scraps-one for paper and one for cardstock :) I am working on getting rid of some and organizing them better though!!

Hi. This is a gorgeous looking card. I watched Sacha Reade's latest video just a little while ago (gel squishy card) and I think I want to try to incorporate that idea into this style of fun fold card to double up on the fun. Thank you so much for sharing this fabulous video and all your ideas. I foresee a fun-filled, fun fold squishy Christmas for a great many of my friends and family this year!
I normally avoid fun folds bcuz they are difficult, too complicated, etc BUT I absolutely love this one. YOU are amazing and so easy to follow. Just love your magic creativity!
Creative folds in cards are an integral part of the card making process. Using a simple fold can take a regular card to a wow card, just like you have done here Tash. What a fabulous finished card.
