The pack starters were honestly very good it's not their fault the ageing halfbacks couldn't direct the backs properly....we know Pollie is our banker at RWCs but honestly he's kicking in btw WCs is not good... We might as well bring Manie in as he will definitely make the most of this Tony Brown blueprint
Faf, Pollard and Kwagga did not have a good game, and needed to be subbed much earlier. But, out losing streak against Ireland is finally over.
Yup Kwagga was definitely not at his best almost a 0 on a Contract today!!!...A No for the next Test!!!
Kwagga has this energy, i want to play, let him sit on the bench and get hungry, come up and make a massive impact! Starting is not hes game

Agreed, but then there have to be a few more changes in the pack to do ruck poaching. There's little poaching with a Kolisi, PSDT and Roos back row and Marx on the bench.

Pollard's poor performance on the boot is being treated with gloves made from duck feathers, silky soft.
Difference is we did not loose! If we lost he would get hanged! If Manie started and missed those conversions it would of been a blood bath! Handre missed a kick right in-front of the poles, there is no excuse for that, i am pissed about it! Lets say Manie played and he missed 2 more kicks? Game over! Maybe he would of kicked it over, no one knows! But we won! Thats whats important, and we have a lot to fix. Sasha played less than 8min, he should of been on after Polard missed the second attempt! Shy did rassie give him so little game time? I dont know? I am not the couch! Rassie is!! Kwagga is not our solution at 8. We all saw it tonight! But thats not my choice. Marx and Marco did what Kwagga was supposed to do! He is a bench player and not a starter!

Pollard is like a Volvo, reliable and safe but does not have the ability to do anything flash whereas the likes of Mackenzie, Smith, Libbok and Ntamack are like Ferrari's, they drive beautifully but they cost a lot to maintain
I believe they played a completely different game plan to what we use to. I like it but I do feel that the Springboks is a team that wear down the opposition. I felt that did not happen today. I think they should maul and grind the pack into the ground and build from their the more attacking game.
That means we need to be bulkier, so slower, and tired easier, meaning our attack will struggle. Look at the world cup final when mackenzie came on in the 70th minute our backline was basically f*cked especially the centers. Now they are smaller yes but slightly faster hence better attack with offloads and faster on defence.
The fact the Boks won with a sub par performance is the important takeaway.
Pollard had a shocker and not a peep. Manie was subbed in imbaresing fashion.

I think you forget that Pollard came in after the other starters had done the job for the first bunch of matches. Squads of 23 won the World Cup not one person you nincompoop
Why was kolbe not MoM?
I know he's a media darling but you have to call out Pollard on his performance, that was not good.

On another day with another ref Ireland would have been penalised for not putting the ball in the scrum. Boks couldn't time their shove

Kolbe allowed 21 to score, he left his blind wing open to join the ruck and Ireland did not hesitate to take advantage, Faf seemed to forget he was scrum half aswell, nowhere to be seen on the ruck.
Woah, Rrrrr Geeee made an impact on the lineouts , scrums and his offloads were definitely noticable when he came on. I think that rating is a bit rough, atleast a 7.

Pollie had bad game but all of players have a off day. I dont agree all forwards standing in back line. Forewards need to protect ball and Scrumhalf. Poor Faf had no protection.

@@Nkanyiso131 Kriel wasted 2 trying scoring opportunities with overlaps so did PSTD. Everyone tried to be courageous but overall Jesse did ok and was also my man of the match. Pollard should take the role of Frans Steyn and come on as a super sub for his kicking prowess which was lacking today . Sacha or Masuku should get the starring jersey for the next 3 years
