I was diagnosed in October just before our vacation. Had surgery in November to remove the cancer. The surgery went very bad. I wound up in the hospital from Nov 30 to Dec 20th. The first couple days in. 2 doctors and a nurse came in my room and advised my wife to prepare. They did not believe I would make it. I don't remember much other then the last 2-3 days and a very special angel looking over me. A much longer story of bad luck shortened up. I AM cancer free. I would like to support you in this. I believe this is a awesome thing you are doing. Maybe have a live auction during a live feed auctioning off some stickers or antenna winders or 3d printed call signs. Maybe even a 30 minute 3d printing support call. I need lots of help learning this 3d stuff. I really have enjoyed your channel over the last several months. But now I feel you just went to a whole new level. Thank you Maurice N7NHS
As a ham who was diagnosed with Stage IV colon/liver cancer in 2021, I think I have a VERY good idea of what Jim must be going through. It's wonderful that you're rallying support around him, cancer can be survivable but a good support system is mandatory! Thankfully, my private insurance (and now Medicare) stepped up in a big way and after radiation, three surgeries and 23 rounds of chemo, I now enjoy "No Evidence of Disease" status. Let's hope things go the same way for Jim. BTW, ham radio was instrumental in my recovery. I've been licensed since 1992, but inactive for the past 15 years or so. Faced with dramatic changes in my life, I jumped back into the hobby with a vengeance. It's been a lifesaver, giving me something positive to occupy my time and keep my mind off of my health.
That is very nice. Jim W6LG is one of the first you tube I subscribe to. learned so much good stuff threw the years. DX commander Lord Callum is doing a very nice raffle for JIM . all money will go to Jim. Jim will not go threw this hard time alone. that what we do for Ham radio . for the love for our Ham radio Elmer Jim ! 73's to all .
Hey Sean, you and the other Hams on TH-cam, helped me get out of my "depression" due to me going through my Heart Valve Problems, I had my Aortic Valve replaced back on September 30th, 2022 here in Medford, Oregon. I "Coded" 90 minutes after they replaced the Valve, and I was in "V-Fib" for just shy of 12 minutes. My heart was not pumping blood and I had to have a Pacemaker put in. I got over 120 QSL cards from All over. That helped me through a lot of recovery.
Matthew 18:20 - "When two or more gather in my name, I am there." Sending prayers for Jim, for happiness, good health and prosperity. God bless you Jim and all who say a prayer for him.
we sent an email to dx commander offering to help with a raffle and donate one of our antennas but the email went to spam and he didn't get it in time so if you know of someone doing a raffle where lots of us can donate our equipment and do a live drawing with a large following of youtubers that would be great
Not sure why AI gave you cat 5 patch cords for an image for amateur radio….. prayers to all of you suffering from this horrible disease and your families as well.
None of them are Cat 5, I ensure you. Are they proper Ham Radio cables, no. But is anyone stepping up and offering to help with proper design? Also no.

I'll get right back to you
If you are putting it up on an eBay auction, that’s even better, just start with $500 as the minimum
Here's a little something to defray your costs in this endeavor, or to pass along to Jim, whatever needs to be done.
Thanks
Leading the pack! Many Thanks!
I'll buy a tumbler whenever they're ready to roll out . . . W6LG has been very kind to me personally. Thanks!
You have a good heart, Dude. I hope your campaign to assist Jim is successful.
All the best.
Excellent, Sean. Just excellent. I'll be happy to buy something or otherwise contribute. You're a great guy for doing this.
Thanks!
God bless.
Sean, you are a fantastic Guy...I swear da Gawd ✌
Well done Dude I have one of the drinks flakes cherry’s brother

@@HAMRADIODUDE no negativity intended dude. Just found it odd that AI was so far off. I am in telecom so it stuck out like a sore thumb.
My apologies. AI really does a good job at being decent, but missing details which seem are obvious to us. I'd guess it's still learning.
I want a sticker, Im in 🇬🇧… Possible?
Look up carnivore diet and cancer
Thanks, What would you like me to lookup about it?
