- Today, we take a look at a scenario where Russia invades the Baltics. Historically, Russia and the Baltic states of Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania have been close. In WW2, the Baltic states were invaded first by the Russians, then the Germans, and finally the Russians again. Up until 1991, the Baltics were apart of the Soviet Union. So what would happen if Russia attempted to reinvade them in 2022? In this mapping scenario, we completely throw NATO out the door and solely rely on the Baltic State's closest allies. Would the Russians be able to invade and occupy them successfully? Without allies, the Russians would have a quick victory, however, that's not exactly what happens in this scenario. No, their equipment is mostly obsolete too. Russia isn't anywhere near second place.
@StatikTiger nukes are the only thing that Russia has left that still makes them a considerable threat. Other than that, three quarters of the Russian military's equipment is older than 50 years. Just compare the budgets and corruption rates and you won't find this surprising.

@@ivanbulatkin5978 I am aware of the fact that Poles don't like the Belarusians and the other way around but this is all because of politics and some history (which was then again influenced by politics). I myself have some Polish and Belarusian friends which both like eachother countries and also hate the Belarusian government. Anyways the point of my comment in the first place was the fact that the people of Belarus don't wish to unite with their neighbor in the east, and that's a fact.
