IMO The RR powered 757 is the only aircraft that performs at the level of the old 720B.
    Truly a rocket ship!

I flew the 757 many times before AA retired them in May 2020 (thanks to Covid). I have so many fond memories of the 752 and this video is heavily nostalgic including my last flight on the 757 which was also the last flight I was on before being diagnosed with cancer, so chilling!

Thank-you Mr. Max for sharing this takeoff experience with us. I just cannot get enough of these sort of videos, especially since I am not able to get out like I used to do. Just out of curiosity, are you in business class or in the first few rows of economy? For many reasons, whenever I have to fly I insist on being in business class or higher, and it is not only because I am such a snooty sort of guy - JUST KIDDING! Anyway, back to the video.
I did view your video a few times just to ensure I was able to catch the details. As someone who has not flown on a 757 very often, I was amazed to see the wing flex as much as it did as it developed life. Especially at @1:51, when the pilot rotated, I’m guessing the wingtip shot up at least 1 to 2 feet. But apart from that, I just enjoyed the view and sound. I am one of those that practically glues his head to the window whenever I fly commercially, even if we are above an overcast and there is nothing really to view. At best, I use my IFE (inflight entertainment) gizmo just to watch the little airplane progress along our route. Since I am hardly able to sleep on an aircraft, I know I tick other passengers off, because I keep my shade up as they try to sleep on the international flights I’ve taken. But it is just my way of enjoying myself.
I remember reading from comments on your last video that you fly Bonanzas. My dad used to fly and loved his turbo Cessna 337. The unique thing about the 337 is that I can hear one coming as soon as I hear the faintest of its sound from miles away. I read that its unique sound signature is due to the effect of the pusher prop pulling from behind the turbulent air of the front prop and it passing the fuselage. I also flew enough to get my private ticket, but at the time I was so busy with work that I could not fly enough to continue pursuing it. I really do miss it now! My dream plane, if I was still flying would have been the Riley Super Skyrocket (hyper-souped-up Riley C337 conversion). I found a nice article about it here, if you have time to read it (page 36ff): file:///C:/Users/2017-LAPTOP/Desktop/Airplanes%20Spacecraft/C-337/0118_CessnaFlyer.pdf.
It appears as if you are using a “GoPro” sports camera for your videos. This is my guess, since when I pause the video, the spinner and fan blades are a bit blurred. I figure that if you were using a camera with which you could adjust the settings, everything would be much clearer in each frame.
Again, thank-you for sharing your video with us. Please keep them coming! It would be nice to see any videos you might take while flying around in that “chick magnet” Bonanza of yours too.

Thank you very much C-990 Buff. It's folks like you that encourage me to keep filming and bring new content coming. Typically I choose the seat based on the best view of the engines & coolest sound. Sometimes that means business and sometimes that means coach. It doesn't matter to me lately as flights are so empty nowadays. Any seat feels like biz class to me. I always have my head glued to the window - so recently decided I should start filming.
I actually fly an AG-5B (Grumman Tiger) for personal use which is a super engaging aircraft (great visibility out the cockpit + great fuel burn vs speed) - basically the perfect plane for a hobbyist pilot -- but it's a totally different animal than a Bonanza!
I film with iPhone 11 Pro Max. I find cameras on newer iphones nowadays are pretty dang good, as long I'm able to keep it steady. One day I might get a gopro but convenience of iphone is key.
Will definitely keep the vids coming and maybe upload the AG-5B along the way. Arguably, flying in the airlines is just as fun -- and far less work!!

@1:38 it looks like you are also taking off into a pretty good straight on headwind of at least 10 knots so that further helped in the short roll and steep climb out. That wind sock is not marked in orange/white stripes defining each 3 knots of wind speed so that's just my aviator eyes guess based on how full it is. That said, great video, and even greater sound!

Yes. Good catch. At 1:39 the windsock is 3/4 extended. Typical sea-breeze at LAX!

No such thing as "too much power" the 75 is a beast and honestly should have replaced the 737, Boeing should have developed shortened fuselage versions to replace the 737-700 and 800
