- iPhone 16 Pro vs. Oppo Find X8 Pro Zoom Test! What do you think about the Oppo's AI imaging beyond 60x? I personally don't mind it, even if it looks cartoony, since I'll be using it as a tool to see at that point.

It’s digital zoom. Any company including Apple could add 200x zoom but it will look horrible even with the fancy ai stuff

Looks like the oppo 120x zoom is AI generated since the texture looks edited
It isn't AI generated. It's enhanced. Generated means to redraw. Upscaling/enhancing means to draw on what already exists.
It just basically runs a simple Noise Reduction algorithm and uses AI to upscale a 240*560~ image to usable 12MP.
@@Entroproxi believe it was an AI effect. please check on Oppo official website about camera. they already put a statement that one of the features about this model is 'AI Telescope Zoom'.

The final photo showed everything, the Oppo has a drawing, the neural network simply draws all the objects, and this is not bad if it draws them naturally, but here it is solid colors, a cartoon, the iPhone has a worse photo in terms of detail and noise there is more, but at least the photo is real
In future we will have telescopic camera that can help us to see planets 🙈😂
