The weakness of sponsored videos is demonstrated clearly by the fact that they didn’t call out Oppo for claiming ‘airdrop to iPhones’ when the massive caveat of “required a separate app on iPhone” defeats the entire damn point of the feature.

@@KeeseToast They wouldn't be able to do it, even if they "reverse-engineered" they wouldn't allow, this is like installing iOS, airdrop is nothing new, you can do that with any phone using NFC, Bluetooth or Wifi, you can even do it on cheap things like ESP-32 for couple of bucks. Today I checked this phone before this video and it seems great for the price but I really can't understand under what drugs you have to be to create such design and it is a thing in 95% of phones, who thought "oh lets strap 3 cameras and add one slot that doesn't do shit, and lets have it cover half of the phone without the need and it could be made from glass that will shatter easily and is slippery, then we add the color of the phone in front so it is not so good, we have huge ass borders or have screens that go out so that you get reflections, can't get proper screen protection and to have missclicks, then instead of putting camera on either of the corners lets put it in the middle of screen on top". Like why, I remember the flagship phones had selfie cameras on sides and it looked clean whilst budget phones had it in the center, now its center for all and it is so ugly, also who uses selfie camera, if you actually use it why not add the mechanism that could pop up to have clean screen that was already done in like 2020. Edit: It would also solve the problem of selfie camera being dirty which is common problem when it is literally on front of the screen, also I hate what they did to Oneplus, now it is 949$ for 12 that has already been out for a while whilst I got my 9 for like 550-600, for that money they have achieved nothing more.

And a headphone jack really now... Even mid range bluetooth headset and headphones now go past 50 hours of play, charge within a hour and no more stupid wire on the phone like our mp3 players in the mid 2000's. Seriously let's keep that in the past from now.
And servicable battery??? Like really dude? I bought my first cell phone in 1999 and i owned hundreds by now. And not once did i replace a battery back then.. Owh phone broke i bought a new one... Hell back in the days with replacable battery's in phone's. We did not even go so long with a phone... Looks solid. More like a great all around alternative phone than a "has all the features" device. I think people aren't giving enough credit to things like camera quality on a phone that isn't from Samsung, Google or iPhone. The A.I. features are just photo features as far as we know and that one Linus tried worked pretty damm good. I haven't tried air drop alternatives, airdrop is very fast transfer speed, does the alternatives that other commenters never seem to specify work as fast?
I'd like a 3.5mm but I've kinda moved on, any headphones that are worth using over 3.5mm need a DAC. Plus 3.5mm dongles are so small now they just look like 1-2 inches of extra wire. No weird bulk.
I've hated the removal of MicroSD for so many years but I'm not gonna lie, the reasons I want MicroSD now would make MicroSD less useful because I'd want to copy or move large files like movies/camera videos etc to and from the extra memory and the transfer speeds would be a fraction of what current UFS speeds offer over that USB C port. I currently just plug in a small nvme SSD to my iphone and also my old Galaxy if I ever need to backup, copy or share something.
