I say pick your poison, play a complete rotation, sit all the starters as long as you can, get the bench some PT. This game is almost meaningless in the standings and playoff seedings for the Fever, perfect time to play the bench in a playoff atmosphere, plus save the starters legs. Sides had not the luxury to experiment, she had to win, UNTIL they clinched. She now has the luxury to plug and play. Team D needs to be a major focus.
Hull and Smith had a total of 5 points in this game (2pts & 3pts). That is not enough from these starters to get them to be successful in the playoffs. That is why they need a true center which will allow Boston to play as a power forward. Dantas scoring helped them stay close. Fever need improved Forward play. Boston, Mitchell and CC can only carry them so far.

They need to find and secure a mobile tall center in the off season. Rebounding, blocks, and under the basket put backs will be their assignment. And the coach needs to get better at time outs and not put in the wrong players to sub out. Use Dantas and Fagbenie to sub for Smith & Hull, and may even start them instead of Smith. Hull also needs to attempt to get open more, and knock down more 3's. She hustles around the court and her defense helps them at times.
