A ja's 1,000 points record will be crushed by CC next year. That is the 'w' fear. That fear and fact is so prevalent, they will be stymied and help to make it so when AJ can never improve upon it. CC records won't be beat until transies and robots are allowed to compete...if ever.
And A'ja plays on a team with 4 Olympians, and they are in 4th place. Nothing about that screams MVP. The problem with the WNBA in that regard, is that they crowned A'ja Wilson the de-facto MVP in the preseason. I would put Napheesa Collier ahead of A'ja Wilson for MVP.

You didn't see her mates fumbling passes, and more than often they scored from them. Just ask Kate Martin and Czinano, the latter whom ever dribbled the ball..

Angel had a fantastic rookie year and I see a terrific career in the WNBA for her. Caitlin rookie year is one for the record books and in my opinion the WNBA Rookie of the Year. Two special players.

So it's not surprising that McNutt "backtracked." Honestly I wouldn't be surprised if the company told her to say that. Because McNutt never talks like that when she's commenting a game
Caitlin Clark and the Fever started off the season with 1 win and 8 loses and had to learn to play together while playing league games. They never had time to meld together beforehand. With Caitlin being a key player the more they play together the better they will become. Also the Fever does not have the depth that the other top teams have. Due to this start could be the reason Caitlin was overlooked for Wmba rookie and Olympic team. Of course I could be overly generous for their excuses.

This is a little silly. Monica McNutt and Carolyn Peck are not quiet about anything. It's their job to give opinion on the game and that's what they did. They gave reasons and it wasn't "Caitlin Clark sucks so duh Angel Reese." They gave an opinion of what they saw AT THE TIME. And the reasons for it have changed so of course their opinion changed and there's nothing wrong with that. We've all see Caitlin Clark progress and how dominant she became since the break. They recognized that as well. But let's not pretend Angel Reese was a nobody and they were just being haters. Angel Reese was basically a late first round pick that broke a WNBA record that was JUST broken because she was injured. It was a competition, Caitlin Clark wasn't a walk away winner back in early July. There was nothing wrong with anything they said.

Now that CC has gotten use to the pace of the game,she's showing what she can do. But to act like having a different opinion is a crime is just straight up stupidity
