Pet Owner lol that is a pigeon, O at first I taught u said pigeon ,.in my profile pic...that’s peg the one winged pigeon , I found him on the streets of Dublin it must be 6 years ago, kids put elastic bands on pigeons feet up there, I go up and feed them and catch those with bands on, lots have missing toes and feet, but poor peg lost his wing, he lives in my shoe drawer plays with our cats ...the pecking other here queen cat and pigeon top , next is the dog and neutered Tom who I suspect is not fully neutered I’m sure I seen him spray yesterday, next are the lovebirds ..the poor pigeon dream of flying,..he wakes up flapping and tips over on the light side and spins in a circle till he wakes up...poor bird.

This is brilliant thank you so much for sharing this, I rescued a pair out of the neighbours shed over the Xmas holiday, I knew they were gone away but could hear the birds screaming, I nearly died when I found them in a Woden box with no cage front no food and more shit in it than free space, they couldn’t stand up straight, but there doing much better..I just took them....I seen one on the others back on the book shelf this morning so it’s time to study..if the chicks are anything like macaw I’ll be ok as I’ve raised a couple of chicks for ppl...can I make the formula out of ground lentils etc..as I would for a Macaw? I’m getting my own macaw chick soon finally not someone else’s bird..the eggs are a week old.. but the breeder said the youngest he could give me a chick is two months max and he said that’s younger than he would normally let them go...so exited....should I definitely expect eggs from this pair I know they are max 3 yrs old but don’t know if there a pair or siblings one is more vibrant someone said that will be the male is that true...he’s very food motivated..another guy told me ull never tame those birds unless you clip them...over my dead body..so I got a spray bottle and when I wanted them back in the cage I’d squirt them and they would go to the cage , now I only have to shake the bottle and they go back to the cage, and another shake and they go in the cage, they’re super smart, they will sit on my hand already but we’re very very scared ..I think they have been grabbed by kids or something..so I’ve not grabbed them yet, they need there nails clipped but they’ll be fine till we have more trust...toweling them right now would but me back lots..I’d say...anyone any tips for me..of corse I’ll only be hand feeding chicks if the birds don’t or if there’s two many I’ll step in...exited for birds birds birds....

If one week age...around 4 till 5 time per day....if more than 3 week age...just 2 or 3 time is ok...the caring tips...must talking with them everyday...make them happy...make sure water for drink n food for then clearly clean...cage must clean every time...😁
One month n half we can teach them to eat seed ...please put spray millet in cage n slowly make them hungry for long time...like...just one time hand feed them for a day...they will start learning eat seed when you do like that...
