The air could expand and stretch the tires. It’s also why they use tire covers in the lanes. Rollout is critical
This side of pro stock is very interesting. Too bad the actual racing, that is prod casted, is not so interesting. If NHRA would show some of the technical stuff that the teams are doing between rounds, they would probably have more viewers.
How many mounted sets do they keep?
about 5-15 depends on team
